What in the hell kind of blue kool aid alcohol are they drinking in the heavy rain stream because that sounds great
I thought it was wkd.
Yeah that much is obvious from watching the playthrough, I was just wondering why the turn list was straight up lying, I didn't think using certain moves could change the turn order.
Basically, each move performed has a "cooldown" timer, where powerful spells and overdrives require that character to wait more turns before they can act again. If I recall right, normal attacks have a cooldown of 1 turn, level 3 Black Magic spells have a cooldown of 3 turns, and overpowered spells like Holy and Flare, as well as Aeon overdrives, have a cooldown of 7 turns.
Thus, even though the turn order did say they had a million turns before Braska's Final Aeon could move again, they wasted all that bringing in an Aeon that can't break the damage limit and using its overdrive. Wasting MP with Holy and Flare all the time really didn't help things either.

Ah right, sorry i misread.
yoo I didn't even know the DS3 playthrough had started. I was watching a few episodes of the gamegrumps series to hold me over and I almost missed the best friend's bloodborne dumbassery

9:09 caught me off guard holy shit.
Just watched the newest Fisticuffs. Do the Zaibatsu hate Gardevoir? I'm genuinely curious since they skipped it while playing Pokken too.
Also, can't wait for the DS3 LP to come on YouTube.

Maybe they've seen every South American use her as their avatar on whatever forums they frequent too

Garedevoir is like Renamon to me now. Can't take them seriously. Why? You all know exactly why.

IT'S FINALLY HERE BOYS
perfect
Of course they breeze through the first boss that took me half an hour to pass.
And then weapon master dies after their first encounter.
Put woolie back on the controls, this just makes me feel bad...

From the pattern I've seen, people who are really really good at other dark souls will find this game easier than the others, so I'm not surprised Pat is leaping through everything as he does (and will do in the coming videos). I'm sure there'll be a bit that'll trip him up later, for sure.

I don't know, i'm still in the first half of the game so i don't know if it gets harder but i still haven't died to a boss yet. It seems easier overall, i mean i haven't played a souls game in about 2 years.

i never could've guessed
i never could've guessed
I mean, Pat and Woolie found Bloodborne to be difficult as hell, even with their prior experiences. I just see a lot of people saying "Yeah DS3 seemed really easy to me but I don't know if that's because it's easier or that I'm just more used to the game" and assumed that to be such.

You literally said "People who are really really good at DS3 will find DS3 easy"
well of course if someone is really really good at a game they will find it easy

That's what I get for being dead tired- fixed my original tweet.
In relevant content, I suppose it should be reminded that we will be getting DS3 every day until it's over, rather than alternating like we have the past month or two. Can't say I'm complaining, the "super best friends production" dynamic really works with the series.
Oh god the fucking Sword Master didn't want to be in the playthrough
So has Sword Master falling off never happen to anyone else? He's done that to all 3 of my characters consistently. :v:
In the fight, yes, but not getting depressed while fighting a bald midget and killing himself

I mean exactly how it happened to Pat. Fight him, give up & run, he walks off and dies.

The end has come.[sp]Or has it?[/sp]
I killed so many strong enemies in the early game by luring them off cliffs it's not even funny.
Undead Settlement Spoilers: [sp]I lured the outrider wolf thing at the bottom of the elevator into the elevator pit the first time I saw it, never attacked it once.[/sp]
So Woolie still hasn't played Dark Souls 1? This is going to be weird seeing Pat fanboy out over certain things and Woolie not getting it. He tried fairly hard to not spoil too much lore from DS1 in the DS2 playthrough, I wonder what he's going to do when they're seeing bigass references to DS1. [sp]Abyss Watchers being Artorias worshippers, Oceiros being a Seath worshipper, Anor Londo and Aldrich devouring Gwyndolin, Soul of Cinder doing Gwyn shit.[/sp]

Its really unfortunate how much DS2 gets tossed to the wayside in DS3- I was hoping for a balance of references to make them all happy, but it seems it'll be more "Pat gets excited for a thing while Woolie and Matt try to follow what's going on." Not that that's entirely bad, but its gonna get a little weird as time goes on.
its fine
Are they going to completed Heavy Rain on stream?
Are they going to completed Heavy Rain on stream?
They said that the game was just too long for one stream and will have another one. But I think they're going to go back to Demon's Souls for the next stream, whenever that is.

DS3 has tons of references to DS2, it's just that things like place names or groups are kind of irrelevant because it was set so far away. And for all of DS2's focus on Vendrick and Aldia discovering the truth about souls they didn't actually do anything. The main story of DS2 was very thin on actual meat, and the stuff from the DLCs was barely relevant in DS2.
What the hell is up with Pat's theory about Ludleth? How did he make that crazy leap in logic?
