Considering it's the same armor and similar voice actor, I'm not surprised I suppose.
Speaking of DS3, (vessel spoils) [sp]Pat is overleveled to FUCK in this, which annoys me since they'll basically blitz through this game without much challenge, but Pat will always go "Oh wow this place is super easy" because of the level difference. Unfortunate, but it's not the worst thing I've seen in an LP. He's already gotten all five dark sigil things, at least, so he's well on his way to getting the "rare" path he plans to get.[/sp]
To be fair, [sp]Siegward[/sp] is more or less just included to be a callback to Dark Souls 1. As Plague put it, all he does is just be fat and sleepy. :v:
It's certainly easy to see how Pat can make the mistake.

why is pat grinding like it's an mmo, you're not meant to grind in these games. over-levelling makes the game as easy as having a phantom with you and it makes the lp less fun to watch (especially when he is complaining about how easy the enemies are now)

He's clearly doing something fucked, though it was immediately obvious he did the souls glitch the first time he 'grinded out levels' as he was at the undead settlement. DS3 is not friendly on souls early on, especially not 100k souls friendly.

You do realize how easy it is to get souls by just helping people kill the first boss [sp]Or the Dancer[/sp] right?

It would have taken a few hours, but that is somewhat doable in the Undead Settlement. Me and a friend managed to get 20k quite easily with co-op. Just being methodical and having patience can get you there with some time.
