How do you know he knew? Just because he happened to have 4 (going on 5) when he started the next session doesn't mean he knew that's what you needed. Had he not tried again later on, I'd agree, but for now I'd say it's a coincidence.

I can see why people are getting pissed at the overlevelling and stuff, but the way I see it, it's fine as long as their commentary is still good and we don't get snailborne again.
i'm just as clueless as they are on pretty much everything they play so i really can't get mad
the comments section is upset that pat is being spoiled while spoilers are being posed right alongside it.
I just hope none of the bosses have been spoiled. There are three bosses I want to see their reactions to:

people need to stop bitching about how pat knows how to do everything since he only knows that stuff because people keep posting untagged spoilers all over the zaibatsu subreddit that the entire group reads all the time. it's not his fault, he's just trying to listen to viewer feedback (ironically, the same people also bitch about pat not listening to viewer feedback. how do you expect him to do that when the best place for it is overrun with assholes spoiling things?)

Suprised Woolie and Matt got into it as much as they did. I wouldn't have expected them to be so excited for a shooter.
I love how Pat just happened to start using the Estoc just as Arin started using the Dark Sword in the Game Grumps playthrough, two of the most hated weapons in the community right now. As if the commenters needed any more reasons to complain lmao
I used the rapier through DS3, thus narrowly avoiding all the estoc hate. :v:
I don't know anything about Souls and I already dislike this sword because fencing looks fuckin dumb.

Shit I forgot they got that, the reason they didn't start using it immediately was because he didn't have enough strength and after all those bajillions of levels he must be able to spin2win by now
I'm not sure if listening to them talk about overwatch or listening to them talk about fighting games is more mind-numbingly boring.
To be fair Overwatch is a new thing that just came out (the public beta at least), they're not gonna talk about it every other episode :v:

I listen to them intently whenever they're speaking about something so enthusiastically. People that hate their wrestling / fighting game conversations are weird
Personally I don't hate the fighting game talk but I can't say I find listening to something I don't care at all particularly interesting either, especially when they keep using terms I don't know the meaning of :v.
But hey, they're all into it, can't blame them for being excited about new characters or stuff
