Oh man Matt's rant about the fridge holy shit
Where?
During the Heavy rain stream, each of them had some sort of explosive rant. Might be the most expressive Matt has ever been, if briefly

My personal favorite was Woolie's after [sp]the attempted sex scene,[/sp] I'm pretty sure that was the straw that broke the camel's back in terms of the shit story.
Something i loved about the stream is that it was played so differently from from the lp.
All the better to see how much the game falls apart.
The reason why people like Heavy Rain above all others is actually a thing to do with memory, even though this is super obvious. It's a pretty consistent game until about the 90% mark (With, of course a few really good and a few really bad moments) so overall your brain averages out your feelings on the game. The ending isn't aggressively bad, it's kind of a slow burn of "wait that doesn't make sense" over and over, but it doesn't punch you quite like say, ME3 which has a shit ton of problems throughout, but the ending is so bad it makes everyone else think positively about the rest of the game.
Thus, Heavy Rain is a good game held up with a bundle of shit. The plot completely falls apart but, when you're thinking about it, the bad parts really don't stick out in your memory because you can brush them off. When you get critical, however, and go through it again, the flaws are glaring and blatant and exceptionally bad, which is why they react so poorly.
Though shit like Madison getting a girl-boner just after she is nearly raped and murdered three times in one day is disgusting. Every single scene, without exception, involves her being depowered and an insane trope,

I like how the only piece of DLC that came out for heavy rain was another rape murder scenario involving madison

I kinda wish they'd go back to play this, but I'm pretty sure Woolie would delete it as soon as he saw that it was installed again.
Vessel Spoilers (DS3) [sp]Good news, Woolie cheated and they found out how to get Siegmeyer out! Bad news, Pat had no idea that he had to charge the Storm Ruler longer and let him die. At least that was the last of his storyline anyway, AND they got to see the cool cutscene that plays before the fight.[/sp]
God I am so glad Pat ignores messages and just runs forward so much in DS3.
In part 22, him [sp]getting shoved off the path by a dude on the right and into a lower level with some tougher enemies, fighting through them all then backtracking to where he was and reading a message just before that point that said "Beware of right" was funny as hell.[/sp]

I'm loving this editing shit and i hope it spreads to other lps.

as long as it's used in moderation tbh. if every lp had the editing gag density of twilight princess, it'd lose its charm pretty fast
It's just come to my realization of how long this damn DS3 playthrough will be

For reference, the latest set of episodes were recorded a couple days after the last demon souls stream, and they've had two recording sessions since then (probably more). It'll be at least 50 parts, I'm sure.

DS2 and Bloodborne where both around 50~ parts and 27~ hours long (Not including the DLCs) so I totally expect DS3 to be around the same length, if not a bit shorter.
Vessel spoilers
[sp]How is Pat level 100 and he hasn't even killed Lothric yet?
I mean you'd have to do some really boring grinding to get there
I'm not complaining I just can't see why he bothered to level up this much
I finished the game for the third time now and my newest char is level 92[/sp]
Pat is weird :v:

Because he was super excited for the game and he wanted to play as much as possible but the voters told him he wasn't allowed to play it, so did did what he could.
I wonder if we'll get the podcast tonight, or that overwatch will sap away Woolie's time the rest of the night. I wouldn't be surprised either way.

[sp]NOBODY CARED WHO I WAS UNTIL I PUT ON THE MASK[/SP]
[sp]The one thing that bothers me most is from their Heavy Rain stream it sounded to me that Pat doesn't go back and explore the rest of smoldering lake. Bugs me that he misses a good chunk of an area plus the spider lady corpse.[/sp]
Where's [sp]the spider lady corspe[/sp] located?
Behind a secret wall in the white part of the ruins. I don't blame Pat for getting out of there, it is atrocious design wise, boring and is less developed than a chalice dungeon

Nah it was the noise from his AutoBlow conversion.
I, for one, welcome our Pat-tron overlords.
Vessel DS3 Spoilers [sp]They ended up going back to smouldering lake due to Pat telling a friend they beat Smouldering Lake and the friend asked "how'd you like the cool thing?". "What cool thing...?"[/sp] Rejoice!
I'm not caught up, does Pat ever figure out that [sp]you have to charge the Storm Ruler[/sp]?

Find out tomorrow, I believe!
(Vessel Spoilers for those who can't wait) [sp]Yes, though not without consequence...[/sp]
So turns out Pat's new hard drug of choice is Overwatch Loot Boxes.

Pat stares at loot box openings video when :v:
I'd love a video like that guns of Icarus one where they all play in a team. and maybe throw Plague and german spy in there too :v:
