It's really not. Beyond around SL120, over-leveling does nothing for Pat. The game has tons of soft caps for skills that hit a hard diminishing returns wall at certain points, ie: Dex stops being worth the level after around 40, and Vig goes from 40 > 20 >10 > ect. health added per level over time. It's not like he's getting to super high levels and going in hard on faith & int. Pat not being complete garbage at the game combined with being directly compared to Woolie-helmed SnailSouls is what makes it seem quick.

No I know, but it cut off a lot of time in the early-mid game when he was able to just one shot everything with his uchi and melted bosses in few attempts.

tbh I'm glad. Less time spent on him being bad at the game the better. I watch for the hype moments.
And even when Pat was being terrible Matt and Woolie together still made it entertaining, Pat's overlevelling almost made him a heel-type character and they cheered whenever he ate shit from things like the SKELETON BALL DADADA DA DA DAAAA
