Wow they really needed to play the RE7 demo before talking about it on the podcast. Their interpretations of people's impressions are so fucked up and completely disingenuous. No puzzles? Really? There are 4 found endings thus far, secret solutions to puzzles that people didn't even realize were puzzles, and like, three inventory items no one knows what the fuck to do with.
That, and like Outlast? Yeah... no, first person and you have a camera at one point, that's it. That demo alone had more unique gameplay than the entire second half of Outlast.

Kinda disappointed with some of what they said about ME:C. The stuff they said about the trials is only half true- the ones at the beginning suck ass because of the magrope, but they clearly didn't play other ones from later in the game that are genuinely great. Also, Liam just saying "fuck user generated garbage" really grinds on my gears because making and sharing trials is one of the most fun parts. They also harp on about how the magrope breaks the game when it [I]really[/I] doesn't aside from those few official trials. They clearly didn't play some of the later trials yet are passing judgement prematurely on 'em.
Like, there's even an entire area in the game you barely set foot in during the story that has great time trials and is a great playground area to just faff about in.

To be fair, they first said that they had only gotten a few hours into the game- hopefully their opinion will change when they play more.
