Adam was injured at the start of the game and required his left arm and lung be replaced. Sarif decided to have all of Adam's limbs replaced and most of his organs augmented. Sarif is the kind of guy who will go beyond what is reasonable to achieve his goals. And I agree with Sarif's "Augs are awesome" sentiments.

Yeah he just god rid of some organic garbage and made Adam better, nothing wrong with that if his ultimate goals are objectively good.

I think he needed his head fixed, too. Sarif still replaced almost everything in his body, things that didn't need fixing. Now we know why it wasn't an issue (and Sarif probably too) but imagine Adam needed neuropozyne. His entire body could shut down if he missed his doses.

Even if you wanted it on paper, but if somebody cut off all of your limbs without your permission and told you you'd probably have to be on an expensive drug for the rest of your life you probably wouldn't be very happy about that.

My joints are so shitty I dislocated my knee three times already by just walking, I think this would be an improvement, I kinda had enough of the pain.
Also I don't think Jensen would need to worry about paying for Neuropozyne, working for one of the largest companies making augs and all :v:

Christ almighty, what a trainwreck. Just like Pat and the rest of the guys mentioned in the podcast, I thought the game was going to be an average game, at best. This is offensively bad.
I'm really glad they're playing Catherine, I was always really interested in the game, but I just know I would be awful at that style of puzzle game.

4 hours after the video comes out and i get ninja'd by a single minute
the desync on the commentary is a bit annoying but i've been looking forward to this playthrough, what i've seen of the story so far is pretty fun

It's weird how little buzz there is about this game. I'd consider Limbo to be a sleeper hit and the fact that Playdead has been super secretive about the game for over half a decade, along with how the hook of the game is "what's [i]inside[/i] of that facility at the end of the game?" makes me surprised that there was no hype at all when the game released and that I haven't been spoiled about what's inside yet.

People have been intentionally keeping their mouths shut due to how much that can be spoiled (similar to Limbo)- would not be surprised if it got a good amount of sales despite the silence.

Wait, have they done a full playthrough of this before? I know I watched the entirety of the game somewhere before but I don't remember who. I felt like it was them since when it came out tbfp was the only group I was actively watching, but searching on youtube only brings up the machinima video.
I'll probably pass on the Catherine playthrough, I love the game, but I just watched Slowbeef and his wife play through it a few weeks ago.
