1. Carry a gun. 2. Problem solved. [editline]11th January 2011[/editline] 3. (optional) Wear an explosive vest filled with RDX and hardened nails.
Many are too young and it's illegal in many places, especially in Europe
The nose is a good spot too. You could punch it directly, or you can snap it to the side. You will not kill him by punching it.
Actually, this can be very dangerous. Striking the nose in an upward motion can snap off the bridge and drive it straight into the brain, or sever the optic nerve, blinding them permanently.

One thing I always do when I have to get in a fight with someone that you know is faster than you, is running away, and when he gets close (like, two meters), full stop, turn around and punch using this movement. As the guy is running, he'll probably won't be prepared to defend himself and your punch will get through, dealing damage. And even if he has his arms up, his speed plus your movement, you're very likely to break his defenses. I'm an asshole when I have to fight :smug:
Actually, this can be very dangerous. In real life, you have to seriously jam the nose up into the brain. As in, you get on top of the guy and strike upwards into his nose with your palm repeatedly. A straight-on punch to the nose will, at most, break it and cause the eyes to water intensely.
Intensely seems like an under statement.
"Breaking the nose can lead to intense cases of leaking eye, screaming, blood and loss of dignity."
I never ever had a life threatening situation in my life, just that case when I had to run to the bathroom.
Fighting someone who has a knife is the dumbest thing you can ever do. However if you end up in said situation, there's a few things you can do. As they look as if they're about to strike, move forward and block high up on the wrist. You have to grab, otherwise he can flick around and slice your arm open. Keep your arm side on at all times, otherwise you risk exposing your veins. Once grabbed, (assuming he's right handed and the knife is in his right hand) , smash below his chin with your fist, and bring it round into his stomach. Keep your left arm tight on his right, holding the knife in place. While he's slightly stunned/panicing from the blow to the head, bend his right hand towards his own arm. He should drop the knife. Don't attempt to take the knife from him, as that's just increasing the risk to yourself. Keep hitting with your right hand for as long as it takes for you to be sure enough it's safe to get him on the ground. You can do this by locking your right leg behind his left, behind his calf. Put your foot to the floor and strike the chest, he should fall. Make sure to keep a grip on his right wrist (with the knife) It's probably safe to try to secure the grip on the handle of the knife, so to take it off him when he falls. But really, you're better running. That's only if you're cornered and have no choice. And even then, you're probably better doing what he says in the first place. Plus, I've never had to do this outside of martial arts (specifically jujitsu), so I could be talking a load of bollucks. Plus, I haven't been in a while, so I've forgotten a few details.
All of this requires tje gunman to be rediculously close, which common sense dictates that guns are effetive over larger distances.
most thugs are terrible with guns and cant aim past 5 feet, although i wouldn't take the chance.
It it just "god".
I'm pretty sure it's "It is just 'god'".
Just print out a Justin Bieber wallpaper and show it to him so he DIE
If you're fighting with someone that has a knife and he moves forward and tries to stab you, grab the hand he has the knife in and press it up and towards him he will most likely stab himself. if you're in a normal fight use your thumb or hand and press his nose up and forward, the head always follows the nose
Punching someone in the lips is risky. If they tilt their head back in anticipation or you punch up too much, you can sever the tendons on the back of your fingers. It's called a fight bite.
Yeah, I didn't get any tendon damage but I have a pretty big scar running down one finger from punching a guy in the teeth. That hurt me a lot more than it hurt him, almost cost me the fight. Don't go for the lips.

- Always try to hit with the two front knuckles (index finger and middle finger) when punching. If your knuckles/wrists are too weak, use the palm of your hand. You can train your knuckles and your wrists by doing pushups on your fists. Try to balance on the knuckles you use to punch with. Never place your thumb inside your fist, it will break with the first punch. - An uppercut to the nose isn't deadly. It's a myth that you can push the nose bone into the brain. Punching the throat however can cause the trachea to collapse, which will cause the person to suffocate. - Punching the nose/lips is painful for your opponent, sure, however the biggest effect will probably be the psychological impact, when he sees his blood spewing everywhere. Use this moment of weakness to pacify him or run away. - When facing multiple opponents always try to avoid getting surrounded. Keep one of your assailants between you and the rest of the attackers to ensure this. - If grabbed by the coat or shirt with both hands there are several things you can do. One is to grab your opponents shirt near the neck with one hand and pull, while pressing (slowly) with your fist against his Adam's apple with the other hand. This will force him to let go without damaging him. - Never underestimate a powerful low kick to the thigh with the shin. If you hit proper it can easily down an opponent and keep him from following when you escape the situation. In order to avoid getting hit with one yourself, raise your leg and protect using your shin. - If fighting against someone using a club-like weapon, such as a bat, try to get in close. Preferably after he's taken swing at you and missed. Move in quick and wrap your arm around the arm carrying the bat. Punch/knee/elbow the attacker with your free arm and or leg until pacified. - Never, ever, ever get into a fight against someone with a gun at all costs. Give the person all your money and run. However, if the situation is impossible to avoid, and you are forced to confront the assailant, distract him by throwing your wallet/cellphone/anything to the ground. Use this split second to move out of the way and grab hold his hand and his gun. Place your hand over the ejection port. If he manages to pull of a shot, the casing should get stuck, and the gun won't be able to fire. Most people who aren't trained in using a pistol, will have their entire finger inside the trigger guard. Use this to break his finger, by quickly twisting the gun outwards. Never ever attempt this without practising it a lot.
If I ever get chased, which has happened twice so far, I run in an area where a light source is almost directly behind me. I use it to time a kick I use where I send my foot directly backwards into their stomach, always puts a guy on his knees in pain. Him running at you and your foot flying into him, he never sees it coming.
Nobody without actual training should attempt any kick other than basic straight front kicks or backward mule kicks. The kick Taishu talked about aiming for the leg with is a Muay Thai leg kick. It isn't as simple as throwing your leg at their leg; you have to have good technique to really get power behind it. Punching for the lips is stupid. Busted lips don't hurt during fights. I've had my lips busted plenty of times and I never even notice that they are busted until someone tells me. The only thing you're doing by going for someone's mouth is risking their teeth fucking your hand bigtime. A tip that will save your hands and is simple is to not throw punches when the fight has gone to the ground and you're on top. Instead, drop elbows. I've seen plenty of guys go to punch whoever they are fighting while on top and break their hand from striking the ground when the other guy moved his head out of the way. If you're in a dominant position on top, drop elbows, they are much harder to dodge and it won't hurt if you miss.
Hit em in the head with that with a good hard swing and you may just kill him. Hit him anywhere else and you will break a few bones.
just stab that motherfucker, no need for backflips and eye jabs.
Agree lawl

The best way to fight someone is to find a weapon and put it on a stick.
The best way to fight someone is to find a weapon and put it on a stick.
or alternatively, make the stick itself pointy! They don't teach you about that in training, only how to disarm people with satsumas

I actually have a sharpened drum stick in my room, along with an old pen knife attached to a stick of tubing. not for any particular reason, I was just bored
