The Tesco near me does the £3 meal deal and you can choose a normal size redbull or a bigger sized can and it doesn't affect the offer. Is this normal cause it's a bloody bargin!
yea man i buy it every time, it's incredible
Anyone want to vote on this strawpoll on what spooky game I should play first this October? No? Ok.
None of these games are particularly spooky, maybe FEAR and that's it the rest are mildly horror games but you can kill the enemy so you can remove the scare factor.

I mean, Vampire: The Masquerade's hotel was spooky the first time I did it, but now I just end up throwing props about the place because I know where all the scripted spooks are (or listen to my Malkavian saying strange things). FEAR is probably the closest you could get to a spooky game in that list to be honest, but even that suffers from the "scripted spook" problem.
shout out to the joker that joined the discord, called it shit and left before anyone could respond 😂 youre a real class act
I'm officially going to use that discord now.

If you can suggest a genuinely spook-tacular game that isn't on that list, an Amnesia-esque no-weapons-dark-building-hide/runathon, or the Silent Hill series which I also own and bought a PS2 just to play but don't have a tv to actually play the console, then be my guest and tell me.

It's genuinely scary. If you haven't - Layers of Fear, SOMA, Outlast and Alien: Isolation are all really good Horror games. SOMA and Layers of Fear are probably the closest to Amnesia's gameplay style.

Layers of Fear is a yawn fest that I can't take seriously. Outlast falls under Amnesia-esque and is also just too dang gross. Alien: Isolation is a good choice but also something I've already seen in LP form. Sorry.

Sanity meter, puzzle solving - again, very Amnesia. - Condemned: Criminal Origins - The outlier when you want a game more like Amnesia, but good nonetheless. Plays more like outlast but you fight back. Plenty of choice on steam if you dig hard enough (like Fnaf but who hasn't watched a LP or played them at this point?).
I forgot Condemned was a thing. I've seen, like, 3 different people start an LP of it but only get to the second area.
System Shock 1 Enhanced Edition is great. Not really very spooky but a great game despite being made a year after Doom on even more limited tech. I actually kind of retroactively hate SS2 because it's clear that SS2 just ripped off everything that people claim it innovates in from SS1. SS2 is a Die Hard style affair where it wasn't going to be a System Shock game until midway through development when EA bought the rights and rebadged it for marketing reasons.
Well I've got both so we'll see
System Shock 1 is objectively superior because the developers had the temerity to design the game in such a way that it can actually be beaten without a hintbook. Whereas in SS2 you can get 80 hours in and then realize you forgot to allocate points in Fuckcundling and have to restart.
All we have in Bletchley is an expensive steak house that apparently isn't even good and an IKEA [editline]2nd October 2017[/editline] There's also a McDonald's but it's closed until the 10th
Have they rebuilt the burned down burger king yet?
So after 4 hours of successive useless lectures today, I looked at the rooms for tomorrow. They are on two different campuses, one of which is 15 minutes from my house and one which is 25 (in the same direction). They have us start on the further one at 9, then go to the closer one, back to the further one, back to the closer one then finish on the further one at 6. I swear timetabling hate us.
I wish that burger King and hungry jacks shared the same menu, while hungry jacks is technically burger king there are more items and the food quality is way better, fast food wise that is.

as soon as i moved out of aberdeen they got a five guys about an hour away from my parents house cruel world
I drove through Aberdeen today. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aberdeen,_New_South_Wales Definitely not big enough for a Hungry Jacks. Also, the first time I got a 5 guys, I was walking from Winchester to Canterbury. It was the first meal I hadn't cooked over a camping stove in a week. At that time, it was literally the best thing I'd ever tasted. + We took about 3kg of those free peanuts to keep us going for the next couple of days walking. Do they still give away peanuts?
Alright lads, anyone here worked in CeX? Just got an interview and wanted to know what i'm getting myself into
Alright lads, anyone here worked in CeX? Just got an interview and wanted to know what i'm getting myself into
Never worked there but it seems like the type of place where people will be pissed off at you for giving them a low price on something they want to sell, beware of the pikey's too.
God UPS can be a useless bunch of cunts sometimes, they asked if it was possible for me to collect my 42KG, 60x60x60cm package and take it home on the tube as I'm only two stops away, like cmon, they have to be taking the piss.
Don't you have a pallet truck that you just carry around with you?
I had to sell my pallet truck to move over here :c
I feel for you man, if it was a missed delivery they should have left it with a neighbour or something. I know they want you to sign for it but touch screen signing machine are utter wank, looks like someone with Parkinsons has signed for it when I use them.
Can confirm UPS are dogshit, fuckers lost my PC when I moved over here. Luckily they found it two months later but still.
Can confirm UPS are dogshit, fuckers lost my PC when I moved over here. Luckily they found it two months later but still.
Two months, wtf?
Two months, wtf?
They sent it to Gröningen, Germany rather than Groningen, Netherlands. How you manage to fuck up that bad is beyond me.
They sent it to Gröningen, Germany rather than Groningen, Netherlands. How you manage to fuck up that bad is beyond me.
Christ on a badger that is a major fuck up, did they reimburse you for anything?

Got a call from the depot again and they are going to redeliver before 5 thankfully, now gotta pray that my PC and screens haven't been damaged in transit.
Christ on a badger that is a major fuck up, did they reimburse you for anything?
They refunded postage costs but that was it. Tried to get more but just kept hitting a brick wall.
Well the Conservative conference speech was a train wreck. Maybe a big enough one to get rid of TMay.
