Apparently you can't rent an engagement ring
you can make one out of wood and spray paint it chrome, looks just like the real thing.
talking of marriage tho, I wouldn't mind hitching myself up down the line. but the thought of spending so much on a fuckin ring and wedding??? I really hope the person I end up wanting to get married to doesn't give a shit about that stuff. I just wanna have some quiet wedding with family and friends at a normal venue. venues that cost 3 months salary and a ring that costs more, fuck that noise. would rather spend the cash on improving a house, or something tangible that'll actually make a difference day to day.
Gonna get a co-op sandwich this evening what are your recommendations. I normally just go Sainsbury's

Was having this discussion with my girlfriend the other day. I don't really like the idea of an engagement ring at all, it's so expensive for what it is and people have all these different standards of what it can be. So I offered about getting an alternative style of engagement ring (idk what yet), but she doesn't want anything like that in the future. She doesn't care as much about the day, so I'm aiming for a small do when it does eventually happen in 5-10 years. We're both 23 and that still feels far too young for something like this.

Find the nearest Waitrose and get a salted beef pretzel sub.

Goto Sainsbury's that's what I would recommend.
Co-op is enroute to where I'm going this evening, saves the ballache of a detour in the rain. Beef sub sucks dope though, I'll have to try that in the future.
Need a change from my usual chicken bacon meal deal

Please do I'd love to see it! Is it a Mexican or Chinese? If you got an American standard for £200 then you are laughing

It's a Made in Mexico version but it's still damn solid. Getting it sent over next month, will take photos then.
Speaking of value meals, this McDs in town keeps giving out coupons for £2-3 meal deals, my wallet is pretty much flooded with these now

Some bus tickets have the same sort of deal, it's the only time I go to a big beef business with their environment-destroying practises.

I only go there when the people I'm with go tbh

i miss the old burger king chain that was always really laid back with giving free shit. i'd get large meals but instead of a drink, i'd ask for extra fries and they'd just throw em in. moved cities and the burger king joint i go to now is super stingy.
anyone else looking forward to uni starting back up? this summer was wank. never making this mistake again, next summer i'm gonna have a shit tonne of stuff planned, cause i've just about gone mental with barely any routine / stuff to do. defo gonna get an internship, and defo gonna save up to go somewhere.
any of you from ireland?

I'm kinda enjoying my summer work right now but I miss having a load of mates within "hey do you want to do something in the next 20 minutes" range
yeah, all my mates went home for summer, so it's been insanely dead. i can't stand being at home after living alone so long. like they've all had their new accommodation sorted since end of July, but all they've done is move their stuff and gone back home again.
i reckon it's cause hull is a proper shit city. there's literally no reason to stay.

I'm a human so no

Of my house, a couple are living there for work, two of them live nearby and drop in regularly and two of us are working elsewhere so we only go down occasionally.
Make the most of it, there will be a time in your life where the idea of not having to do anything for 8 weeks sounds quite appealing
nah man, like with everything, moderation is key. sitting on your ass with no mates to hang with, nothing to do, and basically either watching tv or sitting on the pc, it gets old real fast. i miss having routine. and not having money to go on a solo holiday is also garbo. been on holiday since may 20th, shit got old months back
the brain is a lil bitch. it can be exam season and i'll be dying to play videogames. the second i finish exams? play the game for one hour and never touch it again.

Fuck aye I remember being unemployed, when I was working I was all about wanting to get home and play some fuckin video games. Being unemployed though, just was home doing fuck all. Was boring as fuck so it was.
Honestly, I'd probably rather have a job I dislike than be unemployed, at least you have money coming in and you have some routine in your day. Even doing Uber driving drives me a little insane sometimes from so much sitting around waiting for a trip unless it's a Friday/Saturday/Sunday.
