Saw those in manchester (lola lo, tiger tiger) and nottingham (revs)
Why would I pay someone to watch me taking a piss/hold toilet paper ransom? Whats next? Tip someone for standing in my way at the bar? Tip someone for getting taxi I wanted to get? Tip someone for spilling a drink on me? Is it some american tradition thing that's finding its way over here, like suing culture?
nah they're in pretty much every bar/club
honestly though I don't know what the club gets out of it. bathroom attendant pays the club but makes more money back from washing hands/selling sprays of washed down armani aftershave?
i fuckin hate them though, cause you've got no chance of washing and drying your own hands when they're in there so you just have to walk out with pissy hands and get shamed by him

no splash no gash, no spray no lay
No stink no pink
I was wondering because they're shown to us and I've been consstantly low. But they also can vary around 20% either way due to factors beyond your control.
Do you work in the civil service?
My missus works in the home office dealing people's cases, and they're obsessed with targets. The fucked up thing is that to meet targets the most complicated cases are put to the back of the pile, and the most complicated cases are almost always the most vulnerable people.
anyone have any luck with those ultrasonic insect deterrents? a fucking mega spider the size of my fist just thought it was cool to be in my room and I went through a 15 minute ordeal involving a broom in order to get rid of him and now that winter is upon us I don't want this to be a regular occurrence
why did my brain just happen to be wired to be pointlessly afraid of spiders
Went to see the fireworks at Chatsworth. Pretty good stuff.

...That's the joke?
Besides, if I really took a pic - the neds would have nicked my phone instead.
Never heard the term "neds" before.
Didn't take any photos of the actual fireworks as I didn't want to annoy people behind me.

Like Chavs but worse.
It's a pretty common phrase in Scotland.
Let's not forget young teams.

maybe it was just my area but moving from england to scotland chavs seem a lot more passive, neds will just straight up rob you at knifepoint if you end up near them in the dark where chavs just sort of stare you down from their bikes
maybe garthdee was just rough as fuck
I'm 24, 25 in January I don't consider myself old. Am I in denial?
I was 22 a week ago and I feel like I'm ready to retire from nothing. Guess it's just a mindset.
I'm 23 and feel young as fuck whats up with you granny lads.
I'm 25 in 10 days and I've got a bad back already and cracky ankles and knees. I'm fucked
I'm 26 and have arranged a meeting with the mortgage advice bureau
16 year old me would call me a cleanshirt

Sounds like they're maybe taking it beyond playful banter, maybe ask a few other people in that group what they think.
lads, i need you to lay into me and tell me if i'm being a little bitch about this:
i've got a group of mates i hang out with, and two of em are constantly cracking jokes at other people's expense. like nonstop. went on a night out with them just expecting a laid back evening hanging out, but it was pretty much incessant barbed jokes. walked in 0% stress, left absolutely fuming and decided i ain't spending any more time with the fucks.
i kinda blew up on them and told them you can't call it banter if you're just being a cunt. they said i just play the victim card. i have never ever had this issue with other groups i chill with. am i going fuckin crazy or are they assholes? all my other groups, we sit, chat, we joke with each other but it's never over the line, and it's always good natured.
It sounds like it's more than "playful banter".
I mean sure, the occasional wisecrack is alright but doing it all the time does make you look like a massive prick.
Personally speaking if it carried on, I'd just find new friends to hang out with. It'll only get worse when they start going over the line more often and before you know it - there's a fucking bar fight because one of them over stepped the line and the person they were insulting had enough.
The whole "victim card" thing is just them trying to justify their actions as normal (while they see your response as not normal), which isn't a good sign because it means they won't be changing any time soon. Probably now is a good time to bail as it'll only get worse...
Something like this has happened before with some of my friends. They knew a guy who wouldn't think twice about starting a fight with you (be it confrontation, or just being a prick like these guys) and he eventually ended up stabbing everyone in the back by making up rumours or lies and blaming it on everyone else so there would be a lot of infighting (he'd watch from a distance. I swear it was his fetish). Eventually they just walked away from him because he took it too far (barbed insults etc), but not before he slowly ramped up how far he would push the bar.
Quit my contract warehouse job. Had a moment of cold-induced clarity.
been through a similar thing recently with one guy in my friend group, decided that even if he wasn't winding me up/belittling me on purpose then at the very least he's a shitty enough friend to not care that they're constantly making me paranoid of it and therefore he can fuck off
not spoke to him for nearly a month now, it made a big difference and was a huge weight off in all honesty -
a few of my other mates still speak to him so it's caused a rift. tonight is the end of the league of legends season so we're playing a few fun games and to avoid being petty I invited him along to play with us on the basis that he'd stay out of our discord (which he left already weeks ago) and we'd just have a chill night with no drama. however when I went afk at some point one guy thought it would be funny to invite him on here and name himself after one of the bots on this discord in order to blend in. now i'm stuck in this strange situation where acknowledging his presence causes drama, ignoring him causes drama, banning him from the server causes drama, and questioning why he was invited on here also causes drama
absolute cunts
Went from house viewings with my current house to "oh 4 of us are forming our own house here's the second house we decided this last week but didn't tell you" in a few hours today. From, among others, my a guy who called me his best friend. Who I genuinely trusted to have my back. When the rest of us pointed out how fucked they was they backed down but honestly I'm so done with my supposed friends just stabbing me in the back whenever it's convinient.
Edit: for context, they needed one more person to join the group to be able to split it up, someone asked at lunch and rather than discussing it with the rest of us, 4 of them decided on their ideal house and declared that was what was happening. Until then they were basically using the other three of us as an insurance option.

Opinions on Great Yarmouth? Saw a job there, pay is shit but I can help to buy a small house compared to renting out a broom cupboard in London.
