or just get a fat log burner and steal wood
Buying and installing a log burner would probably cost more than a years heating

Dad got a fucking massive cast iron wood burning stove that's clearly too big for the conservertory, It actually hits 34c in there in a -1c night, He calls me with the sweat pissing off him and has to move to the hallway to cool down, but he's had it in there for like 3 years so he's not getting rid of it lmao.

I just let my missus do it.
It takes like an hour or two at most for like a good three to four weeks of being a festive cunt
Good ROI if you ask me
just buy a prebuilt tree
Sup boyos, what ISP do you lads use. I'm with Virgin and the download speeds are pretty good and consistent which is fine for watching shows online but the connection in games is actual garbo. Most nights after work I just can't play any games online because the packet loss is unreal. I was considering just setting the hub to modem mode and getting a proper router, but after doing a bit of research it seems like Virgin actually throttle connections during peak hours - which is less than ideal.

Mate gave me his BT-WiFi details
So my connection is as good as the nearest BT FON network :v:

I have the plan with no traffic management at my uni house and it's great, no issues at all really.

While I am the next manifestation of the Grinch, what I did once was wrap the (fake) tree up in clingfilm, with decorations still on.
Next year, took it down from the loft, unwrapped it and set it up. Then me mam went and took all of them off, bought a real tree and decorated it.
Now I live away from home, free from the tyranny of the tree.

we're on virgin media fiber at whatever the fastest speed they offer is and it's brilliant, but in our old flat we had this issue where during peak times the packet loss got so bad that games like league of legends and dota that needed reasonably precise clicks and actions were just too laggy to play, we reached out to them and they told us to make a broadband monitor here https://www.thinkbroadband.com/broadband/monitoring
and it did display that we were experiencing 20% packet loss, and from there we went back and forth with them giving us things to try
long story short we got evicted (only because the landlord wanted to sell!) and now in the new place our internet is better than ever, so i suppose you could try pumping bass really loudly until you have to find a new place?
really tho they never offered us an actual solution and even said themselves that it was either intentional or a limit of the area's infrastructure

Do you torrent at all? Or anyone on the same network?
Torrenting shits all over your network with Virgin. My Wi-Fi and LAN would drop packets during torrenting even at 1MB/s
I can't find the little Bluetooth receiver I had in my car. It's driving me mad though, I definitely wouldn't have taken it out, but it's not there alongside the aux cable and the USB cable. It was all in the arm rest.
The only thing I can think of is that I've left the car unlocked and some git has helped themselves to it, but that feels a bit too paranoid-y for me

And another strange occurrence, I went into my garage and was confronted by a familiar but vile smell. Then I saw it, the bottle of ballistol on it's side, the contents all over the floor. The smell is nasty when you use it but dissipates fairly quickly but this has left a puddle of the stuff and the smell hasn't gone since I found it 3 days ago
I've no idea how this has happened, there was a small crack in the lid but I don't know how it's fallen over, the only explanation I've got is that a rat or something had knocked it over. I can't see a draft knocking it over
oh shit

tldr, buildup of urea in the brain.
I used to hold in a bursting piss for ages if I was in a heavy gaming session as a kid ( and accidentally now ) - this probably means i'm up piss creek without a paddle.
Wonder how this research'll fall apart with the impending brexit doom
Even more reason to not drink adblue
bought my dad some grant's as a present topper
and here i am about to pour it in to a pseudo-tumbler
guess i'd better get him a new bottle of whiskey lol

I don't think holding in a piss releases urea to the rest of your body. It just holds it in your bladder, right? You'll eventually wet yourself before anything goes up the wrong way of your pipes.
unless that entire part was just you trying to cram in as many puns as possible.
Our house is so fucking cold right now, every morning is bringing me closer to a nervous breakdown. It's a pretty small thing but I think it's really fucking with me. I simply can't get out of bed because it's so cold.
Not even joking, old people would die if they lived in this house over winter. I can't wait to move
do GP prescription slips have an expiry date? I've been so busy/unorganised over the past month and I'm not sure if I can still collect what I need

I ain't that thick, our heating comes on at 6. I normally wake up at 7, and lay there for half an hour before I've got enough courage to get out of bed.
Our house is just shite and cold

My student house is so well insulated I haven't had the heating on in my room yet, and I sit around in t-shirt and shorts
