new car day!!!!
if i ever stop driving for long enough to lose my no claims bonus, I'm gonna buy some beat up old piece of shit for next to nothing and just insure that.
My stepfather's a mechanic so all I do is drive around whatever mobile scrapheap he'll sell me. A 2.0 Alfa 156 probably wasn't the best choice but I didn't actually realise my no claims had evaporated until a month or so after I got it.
Went to a nightclub last night and to my surprise I didn't hate it. My friend decided it was a good idea to put his cig out on my arm tho and it really fucking hurts
Wouldn't call that much of a friend tbh
Wouldn't call that much of a friend tbh
Yeah, that's a dick move.
Aye it's a dickmove but it happens when people are pissed. I once heated up a knife and asked my mate if it was hot before touching it on his hand. Like at the time it seemed like a funny thing to do, I was just 2 blazed 2 be fazed. I felt bad after though and let him do a smiley ur my hand [editline]5th September 2017[/editline] Oh oh and once a girl put a cig out on my mates face. That was pretty bad
It doesn't just happen when you're pissed lol If you're pissed and you do it, it's not an excuse. I stay away from people who do stupid shit like that.
straight up best way to gauge a person's real personality is to see em when they're drunk. i've never believed the typical excuse of "i was drunk, that's not me!". if you're a cunt when you're drunk, you're more often than not a cunt normally, but you just hide it. i've never done something drunk that i wouldn't also do sober (in terms of the way i treat people etc). i'm just a more exaggerated version of myself when drunk.
I want to make clear that I've never cig burned someone. When I burnt my mate I was just off my nut, don't even think I'd been drinking. This was all when we were kids though, I don't think anyone would tolerate it now. [editline]5th September 2017[/editline] Some of my mates become cunts after drinking though. Nicest people you could know until they have too much. Massive blazing rows in our group when everyone's pissed. I always acted as a mediator, I don't think I've ever needed looking after. Apart from that time I fell asleep with my knob out on the sofa and woke up to my all girl housemates gigging in the doorway
Sounds like a good start to a porno tbh, where's the vid

Keep my mouth shut though as my brothers say I'm quite obnoxious.

My stepdad was usually a total bastard when he was sober, but as a drunk he's a nice guy who's all jokes and telling people how much he loves them. Conversely, my ex's father was a quiet and reserved man when sober would become a wife beating cunt when he got a few drinks in him (he got help with that in the end). Fortunately for me I'm just a dumb talkative drunk who'll end up singing at some point.
It's true, your personality really does shine when you're drunk. Sometimes I like myself when I'm drunk, sometimes not so much - tbh, sorta toned down the drinking over the past year. Can't handle the hangovers anymore and holy shit it costs a bomb for booze- would rather get a 20 bag that'll last me a fortnight. Went to Berlin last week, now the prospect of Brexit is extra getting me down. Can someone remind me again why we're doing it?

[editline]5th September 2017[/editline] reminds me of when we had recently seen the brexit results, and I was at the pub watching the euros, England had just lost (surprise) and some guy shouted "at least we won't be in the euros again!!" we haven't just gravitated of the face of the earth you prick, we're still in the continent Europe

Hey guys...again :P I've had 3 donations so far already getting me to a whopping £70 which I wasn't expecting. I'd like to see Facepunch maybe donating again! This is for the British Heart Foundation. I'm doing a 52 mile, night time ride from Manchester to Blackpool on October 7th. It will be recorded, perhaps in timelapse. I'm not sure my camera is fond of the idea of full 30fps video :) Thanks for taking a look guys <3
you're probably better off posting that on imgur, that website is full of people that like to donate money and circlejerk each other after the fact
you're probably better off posting that on imgur, that website is full of people that like to donate money and circlejerk each other after the fact
I prefer you guys. More honesty. Less malicious doxxing by some randomer.
Hey guys it's me again :) I hope you love my...'photoshop' *cough* paint *cough* skills Here's a link to donate to me :) I recently, about July 9th, did a bike ride for The Christie, a cancer charity. I personally prefer the BHF, my family has a known history of heart disease, my neighbour died a few months ago from a heart attack, and my dads cousin also nearly succumbed but thankfully survived a heart attack as well. Plus, their ride is way more interesting (night time) and I won't get gnarly sunburns and do forever uphill climbs :) This ride begins on the 7th of October...annoyingly I have stocktake later that day. :( but charity work is important all the same. Consider donating to me guys! I appreciate it. I said last time I'd record my ride, and I did, but I have admittedly not done anything with the videos, but I have them saved. I might make a timelapse video instead, probably now :) but thank you for looking! Here's last years BHF ride!
I'm off on 7th October so may pop over to Blackpool from Preston to cheer you on!
how much are you guys paying on your annual premiums, just out of curiosity? I was paying £1800 my first year, £1700 my 2nd, £1500 my 3rd and am now paying £1000 a year or something. all thanks to no claims bonus. made me shit a brick when my aunt told me she was paying like £400 a year for a massive brand spanking new land rover.
£430 p/a with no claims bonus
what cars you guys got?
2012 Honda CR-Z (1.6 engine) Next car is going to be a Tesla Model 3 (providing I buy a house beforehand otherwise I'll have nowhere to charge) or failing that, a BMW 4 Series Grand Coupe

Quotes are all in the region of £900 for year 2 on the Seat with a 1 year NCD.
I was paying 2100 or something, then it jumped to 2300 So i switched cars and it's 1700 or something now seat ibiza 1.0
nice to see i'm not the only young driver being shafted by insurance. my parents were convinced i'd fucked up somehow, and even my aunt thought i must have done some dumb shit "i'm only paying 400 a year for my great big land rover!" ye but you're like 49
£1700 first year for a Golf 1.4, then £50 to add the Seat Toledo 1.0. Ended up cheaper than going black box somehow too.
fuck the black box, don't care how much it reduces my premiums
£450 for a 1.4 TSI Ibiza with Aviva, 3 years ncd. Not bad for a 150hp car really
I pay a lovely £2600 for mine :surrender:
