Fuckin irn bru is changing their ingredients and lowering their sugar by like half, and now it tastes like shit. Thanks sugar tax. I kept a bottle of the unchanged stuff for the future. You can take away my elixir.

Now it smells like farts, and is dangerous for people with diabetes who use it for hypos.
If it's your cup of tea and you happen to live near Birmingham, there's going to be a vintage weapons fair at the Motorcycle Museum near the Airport. Was prince Albert really such a miserable fanny like he is in Victoria
The Original Re-enactors Market is always worth checking out. It's on twice a year, and I'm generally at the event bumbling around. http://www.reenactorsmarket.co.uk/

doesn't matter how small an apartment you get, if you've got an overly-attached mum, you're fucked. she's visiting with my older sister and it's gonna be such a ballache having 3 people in a 1 bedroom apartment. I'm mainly dreading the shower / toilet situation. and the fact I'm sleeping on a sofa. wouldn't normally mind it tbh, but I've got such a shit relationship with my mum. she's never once sat down and genuinely asked how I'm doing, she mainly tries shoving her opinions down my throat (right now it's a vegan / gluten free fad) and having arguments with her when she won't quit trying to control my life. Y I K E S, wish me luck made the mistake of telling her about the colonoscopy so she insisted on coming up, I done goofed. place your bets: doc turns round and tells me I've got IBS and my mum tells me I can cure it by eating gluten free or becoming a free-range human or some shit
A lot of people do have gluten issues but gluten free products are a fucking ripoff.
A lot of people do have gluten issues but gluten free products are a fucking ripoff.
I know, dude. I even got tested for celiacs. but my mum's one of those people who thinks gluten is the devil's work, but when you ask her what gluten even is, she draws a blank and just says "it's the bad stuff in bread" lol I'm glad the whole gluten free fad took off, though. it's probably made it a hell of a lot easier for people genuinely suffering with celiacs to get hold of tonnes of gluten free stuff relatively easily. there's entire aisles dedicated to gluten free products in stores, now. I remember a few years back, you'd never see anything gluten free. you'd have to go to speciality stores that'd upmark things by 50%. you can even get gluten free options at most chain restaurants, too
that sounds pretty badass, where was this? [editline]28th January 2018[/editline] I wanna find some sort of club that does hiking / camping or some shit. seems real easy to find in America cause yanks have forests and open country all over the place. would be sick going with a bunch of chill people, hiking, camping, sitting round a fire. but in the UK? doesn't seem like it's really a thing.
We should set up a FP hiking / camping interest group Who would be into this? I know metallics has a lot of experience in this kind of thing

He actually got a little bit of gluten free food from the NHS but said in reality he bought most of his stuff.
When I was at university my flatmate had celiac's. He actually got a little bit of gluten free food from the NHS but said in reality he bought most of his stuff.
IIRC they get something pitiful like £30 a week or month or something to help buy gluten free foods. which really isn't much when all the stuff sells for insane amounts.
I have to datecheck all the gluten-free stuff and some of it's bollocks for what it is though, and some of the ingredients sound worse than stuff with gluten in.
true that. which for all the fad dieters, it just makes them idiots. but for the people suffering with celiacs, I bet eating stuff with crap in it and not having your intestines blow up on you is a fair tradeoff.
I'm trying to get used to spicy food, and slowly I'm building my tolerance up. Last night I cooked fajitas using one of those box kits, and added jalapenos and extra spices. I really really enjoyed it, but today I'm starting to regret my choices.
Well, that job didn't last long. At least it wasn't my fault this time.

I really like the way spicy food wakes you up and I've also noticed it helps increase my appetite. plus the warm radiating feeling you get is pretty cushy. I've been sprinkling cayenne and chilli powder on as much stuff as possible. dunno if your asshole can build up a tolerance to spicy food. if it's real bad, just eat some vaseline.
I tried eating peri-peri a while ago. It literally smelled like bile. I'm not sure I got the right thing since I've had Nando's before and liked it.
Ok fellas, I am going back to the Netherlands but not for a while yet, and I have been looking for jobs in the meantime. Today I got an offer for a second interview at a trade goods store - wood, tools etc. I mean having a second interview is what I can only imagine a good thing, but this is the first time I've ever been invited to a second interview, I have always either got the job or not. Anyone got any advice?

Anyone got any advice?
From my experience a second interview has usually been more personalised and them wanting to find out more about your character. They've probably determined from your first interview that you have the skills and qualities they're after but now they want to see if you'll fit in. Standard advice is to just relax and be yourself, try show a bit of humour. They will be interviewing people all day and you want to stand out, I luckily had a horrible flu I could make fun of during mine. So I was probably remembered as 'that sick guy with the bants'.
Well, that job didn't last long. At least it wasn't my fault this time.
What happened lad
What happened lad
Well, it was said to be for 4-6 weeks of temp warehouse work. Turned out to be less than 2. Unless they really didn't like that I had a holiday booked on the second week. I didn't see the other lass I started with on the sign-in list either so maybe they vastly overestimated the workload?

I empathise because my dad is a contractor and hes gone as long as 10 months without work, and that exact scenario has happened to him many times before

I was technically in work at the time so they can't do shit about me not looking for jobs while at Centre Parcs.
Temp workers and contractors are treated like shit cause they can just turf you out as and when they please... I empathise because my dad is a contractor and hes gone as long as 10 months without work, and that exact scenario has happened to him many times before
being a contractor can be somewhat different though, a lot of contract workers I know get absolutely paid out the arse for the flexibility of not having a guaranteed workstream, which is pretty cushty since some of them have been subbed out to us for more than 5 years non stop. Where as temp workers get a crap wage to boot.
At my place if you're a contractor you're relatively safe, whereas the permanent employees are always getting put in redundancy pools and shit.
All right, because it's been mentioned in LMAO Pics Death and deaf. They are pronounced the same right? Or am I going to be told differently.
