Thinking of tasking up a part-ownership help to buy scheme. Anyone that's been on one that has any experience with them?
Just remember that with most help-to-buy accounts you can't use the 'bonus' money for the deposit. It's to help with buying other stuff after you've enough for the deposit.
bunch of babies on the internet talking about how bad the laxative prep for a colonoscopy is, and they almost always include "I ate as much as I could before the cutoff time so I wouldn't be hungry". these past two days, I've eaten lightly, this has been a pretty easy prep. I'd probably be feeling pretty awful rn if I'd eaten loads of food, cause what goes in, must come out. just annoying af going to the loo every 5 mins to either piss from my dick or piss from my ass. it was funny the first few times pissing from my ass, but now it's not so much.
Good luck mate, the prep is probably a bit better for you because you didn't go eating ridiculously before the cutoff. The prep is near universally agreed to be the worst part.
CEX or GAME
Ok fellas, I am going back to the Netherlands but not for a while yet, and I have been looking for jobs in the meantime. Today I got an offer for a second interview at a trade goods store - wood, tools etc. I mean having a second interview is what I can only imagine a good thing, but this is the first time I've ever been invited to a second interview, I have always either got the job or not. Anyone got any advice?
I got the job :poot:
CEX or GAME
CEX. Despite I've never gone inside one that doesn't smell of sweat.
CEX or GAME
Gamestation.
Good luck mate, the prep is probably a bit better for you because you didn't go eating ridiculously before the cutoff. I dunno what the fuck was wrong with him, but he seemed ridiculously hungover. that really put me on edge, but it's a colonoscopy so what's the worst that can happen. took me into theatre and he put a cannula into my arm and totally botched it up. first he spent 5 mins fumbling with the strap, cause it kept snapping open again. then he put the needle in but it was a shitshow. I've had so many done in my life and they're usually really straightforward. blood was spraying down my arm and I straight up asked him "are you alright to do this?". once I called him out on his shit, he stepped it up a little bit and the nurses were total champs. if I'd have had a competent dr, this entire thing would have been a cakewalk. only thing that ruined it a bit was the stress of seeing my doc looking like a trainwreck before we'd started. sedation was awesome as well, it just chilled me out and made my head vibrate a bit, but I was totally in control.
Gamestation.
RIP :'( CEX if I need to nowadays, game was always overpriced as hell imo, since the advent of steam I rarely go in one nowadays. game station all the way for console games back in the day though, still remember going in there to pick up my copy of BF2142 with my mum on a saturday morning when I was like 9 :) [editline]1st February 2018[/editline]
You're the first person I've seen to say "brighton" and "love" in the same sentence and I lived there for seven years.
Lived in that side of East Sussex all my life up to two years ago, seeing the Brighton sign always make me feel at home, even if I have to get a fucking southern rail train to Eastbourne. Hastings, Eastbourne and Brighton. Its fucking shite if you live there (Seaside Syndrome, Full of old people and fuck all to do in the winter) , but honestly the places around that part of the county are probably my biggest motivation for my creative work as weird as it sounds.
So it's been confirmed that my only local hospital is to be gutted, with 89% of it's services taken away. We will be left with an A&E unit and maternity. Anyone that needs the hospital for anything else will have to pay £100+ for a ticket on the ferry. I don't understand how we're meant to cope like this.
umm, just stop being poor?
umm, just stop being poor?
sorry m'lord

I imagine they'll be downsizing the A&E to an urgent care centre or minor injuries unit too, since they'll be unable to admit without wards, or perform any surgery or such. That is an absolute farce, and shows exactly what the Tories want done. I know that one of the local hospitals to me has been on the chopping block for ages, the only reason it hasn't been cut is because of the voting demographics of the area.
Failed driving test v2, my handbrake turns didn't smoke enough
Got my Leaf in for it's first service. They gave me a fucking 0.9l Micra. I hate this car with a passion.
Got my Leaf in for it's first service. They gave me a fucking 0.9l Micra. I hate this car with a passion.
Surely they should have given you another EV?
Surely they should have given you another EV?
That's what I said! Apparently not. I'm filing a complaint because it's so awful and fueling this thing for a single day has cost me more than a whole month of electric.
Lol. The worst car I've ever driven was my mates mum's k11 Micra, 1.2 with an automatic It was so shit it was fun to drive
That's what I said! Apparently not. I'm filing a complaint because it's so awful and fueling this thing for a single day has cost me more than a whole month of electric.
they just gave you the fastest car in the world mate

Getting my Type R chassis number next week :D

Hospitals are just getting gutted left right and center. The hospital in my hometown only consists of an MIU and four empty wards now, and I think the MIU will be shutting down soon too from what I hear from my old colleagues.
All right, because it's been mentioned in LMAO Pics Death and deaf. They are pronounced the same right? Or am I going to be told differently.
I say ball and bowl the same. I've been mocked on multiple occasions now
something that always gets me is when I pronounce h as "aich" when I'm spelling something, and the cheeky fucker thinks they're correcting me when they repeat it back and say "haych" [editline]3rd February 2018[/editline] the queen would be disgusted
I've always been confused by this tbh Are you meant to pronounce the "Hu" sounds?
what do you mean? give us an example
Fucked my shoulder up for the third time now trying to do the 'Sheev Spin' from Star Wars while drunk. I know a ton of people go full retard when drunk but for some reason I become absolutely convinced I can pull it off if I keep trying. Plus my friends are bad influences and just want to get videos of me hurting myself.
I'm really worried my mum has early signs of Alzheimer's. She's in her late 50s, I think she's 58 or 59? She forgets stuff pretty easily, and has trouble using a TV remote. I was subtly asking her to do basic things like pause a movie using the pause button on the remote, and she'd sit and stare at it for a minute and then say she can't. It scares the shit out of me seeing my mum like that, she'd get genuinely child-like confused. Another time, she spent five minutes trying to open a bottle of olive oil that has one of those metal clasps like in this pic. She's been using olive oil bottles like this for years and has never had problems opening it, but she was genuinely confused and couldn't figure out how to open it. She kept trying to twist the top off, and it broke my heart. Is there anything I can do to determine if it's genuinely early onset Alzheimer's, or if it's just normal growing old issues? I don't wanna tell her I think she might have Alzheimer's, because that might worry her a lot. Is there even anything we can do to revert Alzheimer's, or is it one of those diseases that we haven't got a cure for yet? Fuck mortality.
