You coming back?
Next summer maybe Your country's expensive :v:
It's been snowing on and off in central London, felt like a blizzard in parts riding to work though, had all settled down The Mall and it looked amazing going through
It has been snowing and then not snowing about 10 times today. None of it has settled, but it was rather amusing to have it start and stop so many times.

have a safe flight man, and mcdonald's is legit (on a more serious note, there's a pasty shop that sells banging pasties if you like that kind of thing. I love buying them and leaving it to cool down for 20 mins, and then eating warm pastry and steak and ale filling is just bliss)

cant ever go wrong with a wagamama tbh
wagamama ramen, the portion will put you into a food coma and you'll be tuckered out before you even take off, dreaming of sakura leaves and seppuku
I've heard uk nandos taste better than others?
Other counties have nandos???
Other counties have nandos???
Nando's isn't British, you know. Granted, that's all I know about Nando's because I've never been in. EDIT: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nando's#History South African, actually. Which...is not what I would have expected.
cant ever go wrong with a wagamama tbh
Had nandos just so i can tell my friend I had some cheeky nandos

I don't get it, everyone at work is banging on about how cold it's been today. It was only -1 and we had a tiny amount of snow. I think people are making a bit much of it. I am wondering if I've only just acclimatised to the cold now or something as it really doesn't seem that cold to me, meanwhile people are walking about in hats & gloves.

Seemingly innocuous temperatures can become deadly with the right wind. See the following chart: I'm guessing wind chill happens because heat energy always tends towards colder things, so the cold, larger mass of air hitting us is stealing our heat energy due to its larger mass, and it's probably making a more effective contact with our skin, even through clothes. This is all guesswork though. I don't actually know enough about windchill to talk about it with much authority.
i thought nandos was portuguese?
Didn't mean to rate this dumb!! The food is, yep, but the business is not. It's like setting up a Chinese restaurant in, say, Scotland; the food is Chinese, your company ain't.
makes sense. and yeah, it's only -1, but past experience has shown temp don't mean shit without knowing how windy it is as well. I remember having to wait for the bus some mornings, and the temp might have been 0-5 degrees c, but if it was windy out, that shit seeped into your bones

yeah, Middle Eastern weather is 100x worse when we get real humid days. it feels like the heat hits you harder and you just feel exhausted / so hot all the time. at least when it's a dry weather, your sweat wicks away the excess heat pretty good. I've worn hoodies on days with 45 degrees c weather when it's dry, but on days when it's 35-40 and it's humid, I gotta go thinnest shirt and shorts.
Since we're still talking about weather, the reason hot days can often become very stuffy at night is because cold air can't hold as much water, meaning humidity often increases at night, making it even more uncomfortable.

You a smart man.
I'm currently stuck on a country road. There's a woman at the bottom of the hill stuck. Cars are gliding past me on black ice. I'm a snow wanker send help.
