cause i dont give a fuck

unless theres a 50p charge then i dip out of the shop faster than they can finish telling me about the charge
I wanted to spend 45p at Costcutter once and they wanted to charge me 50p to use my card, ended up going to Boots and spent 45p without bullshit fees :v:
these card fees are getting wiped soon, not sure when
But it's mostly to the bank's benefit. They're the ones charging for little shops to have their card services hooked up for reasons I don't quite understand. It's not like it's any more costly on bandwidth for a little shop to get connected.
straight up best way to gauge a person's real personality is to see em when they're drunk. i've never believed the typical excuse of "i was drunk, that's not me!". if you're a cunt when you're drunk, you're more often than not a cunt normally, but you just hide it.
i've never done something drunk that i wouldn't also do sober (in terms of the way i treat people etc). i'm just a more exaggerated version of myself when drunk.
I shat myself whilst drunk
What does that mean

Doesn't count unless it's a grand slam.

That you should sue the bar for giving you a loose stool.
I'm off on 7th October so may pop over to Blackpool from Preston to cheer you on!

Oh shit son!
Just remember it's a midnight ride tho so lest ye be showing up all night just to wait for me ;)
I'd possibly do something akin to posting updates in Discord?
Alright guys, who's a good bank to go with? Going to need that sorted relatively quickly once I get over there. Don't really want anything with monthly fees. Ideally would like to have a card account, then two accounts, one for bills, one for saving.
Also, do I need a national insurance number before I get a bank account?

Whenever I need a good bank, I go to pornhub. Xvideos is a little too amateur for my tastes and I like pornhub's PR team.

I can't really answer which is the best bank for you (I'm with RBS and they've been utter bastards at times but pretty good on others) but to open a bank account you need a proof of address (bank statement or bill) and a proof of ID (full driver's license or passport).
I use lloyds myself, their mobile banking app is pretty good and I think they give you the option to open a saving account in the app
i'm with lloyds, good stuff
also bonus points for having a horse on the card

I've been with Nationwide and Lloyds for years. Lloyds are cunts, opened the account when I was 14, when I was 21, I went 5p under £0 on Christmas day. They ended up trying to shaft me with fees, so I went to the local branch, the manager said not to worry, he'll sort it out. Two weeks later, I get a letter CCJ, which utterly tanked my credit score and fucked me over big time. Had to fight for about 6 months to get Lloyds to stop being utter bastards. Estate Agents and Credit Agencies wouldn't touch me.
Eventually they removed the CCJ against me, closed my account. Never going with those fucks again.
Nationwide, on the other hand, have been fucking amazing to me. They've waived numerous fees when I've had a direct debit mess up, instead of charging the £20. They've helped me get back loads of money (£3200 that was nicked, £320 recently that a dodgy merchant refused to give back). I'd recommend them in a heartbeat. Their mobile app is easy to use, and being able to login with a fingerprint is nifty. They've also got a referral offer where we both get £100, me for referring you, and you for signing up. Just sayin.
really have doubts about where I live at times.
just now there was some lad sat in a fucking bush outside the front of my house in the almost total dark & the rain listening to music on his phone, and all day there's been sporadic bursts of knocking/rapid banging from my neighbour's house.. either someone's gone mental and has been knocking on the wall since lunch time or the dad's murdered the family and is now boarding up the room he did it in
my village is at the bottom of a valley too, so when the fog rolls in it gets thick as fuck. I honestly think I live in England's version of silent hill

Except Lloyds has a £10 buffer, you don't get charged shit unless you go more than £10 past your limit?
I think I witnessed either someone high, learning English, or an alien in disguise.
Basically they walked into the local and asked in like the most unnatural ways "I would like to buy some cigarrettes. I have £5." and took a long time to process that he didn't have enough money to get any. He then wandered around the shop and the keeper had their eyes fixed on him on the camera display. It was wierd.

Dunno why I got charged then, I explicitly remember the manager laughing it off and saying it was just the computer system being especially aggressive, and that he was gonna sort it out since it was just 5p.

nationwide i hear are good, i'm with tsb. it would help to have an NI number but i don't believe it's essential - could be if you need any more than a cash account (i.e. no credit facility). few accounts have monthly fees unless it comes with addons like insurance products etc.
you'll have a current account for your regular income and outgoings, then a savings account for saving. at least in my experience.

just look who's nearby and check moneysavingexpert for details - they're a great resource to save a few quid

I dread people thinking this about me whenever I'm in a shop

Pretty sure that is what people here think of me with my broken Dutch and weird currency.
Honestly I miss British coins. You can tell from a glance a me feel how much they are worth. €1 and €2 are ok but cent coins are so similar I can never tell without turning them over and reading.

Don't worry, someone will just immortalise the moment in a post on a forum for people to ignore.
christian nairn ( hodor ) is doing a DJ set 1 metre in front of me and all I'm doing is browsing FP
GoT (and the book series for that matter) is overrated.
Though I do give the show credit for looking like it has a budget, but that's it.

I mean completely, but to give him credit he's actually been putting on some really good songs - whilst unfortunately he likes to play very loud; he's clearly not just riding on GoT knowledge alone

I know that's not what you were saying. I was just making an aside because I'm petty about my dislike of the series.
why are you always so pessimistic?
