Met Office having a field day goddamn
I'm in a red zone and getting about just fine. Hills are a bit fucky but a bit o' welly conquers them. Edmund Hillary got nothin.
I'm a bit hacked off that there's finally big snow and I'm in fucking Denmark where it isn't snowy just freezing and windy

I don't think anyone's gone into the office today, my missus is at home and I'm stuck up a sodding ladder
Boiler's broken. Perfect timing.
If it’s a condensing boiler, they have a waste water pipe that goes out the side, sometimes they freeze up. If you can find it (it’s usually a thin white plastic tube with no lagging) pour very hot water on it to try clear it.
Less than an inch here in my town
Still, stay safe and warm guys and be careful on the roads
less than an inch here too.
[editline]1st March 2018[/editline]
oh fuck, i thought we were comparing sizes. nvm, yeah, less than an inch of snow in my town too.
Almost 50cm of snow here wtf
Also work is opening tomorrow but literally the only business in the retail park I work at that is going to open. Since no-one can get their cars moving I dunno who they expect to have in terms of customers and since no deliveries are gonna make it through it will just be sitting around doing nothin'
I stopped by a hiking superstore and bought a bunch of thermal shit. thermal socks, thermal baselayers. got tired of shivering my ass off every winter, so hoping this'll keep me warm now, and also next winter.
It was so cold I was having trouble typing because my hands were numb so I have started folding at home to heat my room up. It's actually working quite well :v:
i just turn the heating on like a normal person, and play videogames at the same time. pc room gets toasty in no time.
The Dailymail are saying we might run out of gas, hopefully thats bullshit.
Fuuuck it's as thick as I've ever seen it here and it's still snowing.

It's the daily mail dude.
I've spent hours lugging equipment all over edinburgh in this bloody snow and we found out just as we've got everything set up that the event it's for has been cancelled.. so it all had to go back.
Greeaaaattt
Tried to explain to people I work with that this is actually being caused by global warming and got the "what do you mean look at how cold it is outside" response and jesus christ shoot me

Should have called it climate change
Had a bit of fun today on my way home from work:

the people that live in that house must love it right now. can you imagine how snug and cozy it must feel sitting by the window, looking out on all the snow, whilst you're comfortably sipping on coffee?
I'd love to have a house in the countryside.
My prediction was correct. Got an email from boss work is closed tomorrow. Was in need of a 3 day weekend.
I keep seeing really red men in football t-shirts out in the snow, what the fuck

"there takin back are country from that foreign snow"
some nobheads on my facebook sharing a video of allegedly "how the crash on the m62 happened" and it's an obviously sped up video of people braking but not slowing down in time and colliding with the cars in front
best part: they were on the right side of the road. this video was from some fucking road in the USA and people just immediately take the obviously bs caption as fact

Oh my radiator was on full blast but it's shit, and I was doing work at the time via SSH so FAH was the most productive option for not freezing.
Three for three! Work/school is closed again. Looks like the entire school borough have also decided to close due to heavy ice and snow forecast. Looking out to my garden, I can see why. There's loads of untouched sections of snow from Wednesday that have compacted.
I dragged my old jacket out of a move in box it's been in for almost two years, wore it last night. fuck me it makes me a difference. got myself brand new thermal baselayers too and I can go out in this and feel fine. only my hands and face get cold.
I'm just thankful the roads around me aren't too bad. the small side roads are a bit touch and go, but the main ones to uni are gritted well so there's no traffic. really looking forward to the weather calming down a bit, though. it's getting annoying having to avoid massive black puddles and ice.

Get a knock off fleecy buff, some really shitty cheap £5 ski gloves and drop some dollar on silk liner gloves. Never have cold hands again.
What the fuck I heard a bang and my fence panel is gone. I can't see it in my or my neighbours garden. It's gone totally AWOL.
fingers crossed ima be able to make it camden from southampton tonight
