Took one look out my window and there's a skinny white dude drinking special brew with his shirt off. Suns out boys.
Sun's out guns out lads.
Sweating a bollock off in the suit though.
I never thought that 25 degrees could feel so hot, I'm used to jumpers starting to go on at these temps
I was wearing a winter hoodie this morning cause it felt a bit chilly.
Boy did that turn out to be a massive mistake as the day went on.
Having to choose between remaining stubborn and sticking to "I'm not putting sun cream on in fucking April", or accepting that my ginger skin is in for a lifetime of 50 SPF sun cream and embarrassing sun hats.
I get sunburnt as fuck every year and I never learn my lesson
You should just burn, there's literally no downside to it*
*not a doctor
I had my factor 50 on today, although I did have a beach trip with my friends so it was worth it. Left the hats though.
Grab a moisturiser with some SPF protection. Then you're always covered (assuming you use a moisturiser daily since most do) without actually needing suncream except in extremes.
Friends are already complaining about pollen and getting medication ready
So fucking glad I don't suffer from it.
Bought The Lord of the Rings extended editions because I love The Lord of the Rings and also Pan's Labyrinth because fairies.
Tell them to get a prescription and they can get some stronger meds if needed. The antihistamines in shops don't do shit.
Funnily enough I recently picked up Pan's Labyrinth too
in CEX The collectors edition (which comes with 3 artwork cards and a poster) was only 75p lol
I got mine in CEX for the same price but it's just a regular edition. And it says disc 1 on it even though there's no disc 2.
I got the best collectors edition from CEX. It's a bluray remaster of an old Spanish/Italian (??) Horror film called Pieces. It came in a card box, it has a little booklet about production of the film, 3 different versions of the film and a giant double sided poster I can't quite bring myself to put on the wall. £3.00, best £3.00 I ever spent.
"im filthy, plz clean me"

can't quite put my finger on what
Any of you guys live out in the country? Post pictures of your surrounding areas, I'd love to visit the old country sometime, but for now I'd settle for just seeing what you guys do on the reg.
I'm an impoverished American living in Alabama, which I think is the equivalent of Glasgow for you guys.

Not my immediate surroundings, but I spend a lot of time there:

Lake District is kinda nice?
Wales is pretty decent too, admittedly I have only been to the Lake District a couple of times (and one was for camp FP) since coming from the North East it was always Moors/Pennines/NNP

Living in the country is lovely until you realise the only connection with modern society is a bus that comes twice a year, and everyone in the village knows what you had for tea in 1998 within the first week of living there
I was speaking with an Austrian workmate today about how amazing her country is when she shown me photos. Then she hammered down the point of "Yes it's beautiful, but it's so fucking boring". Thought it was a good point, sure most parts in the UK look wank but you can grab a train or bus to some form on entertainment within 20 minutes.
Got a whole load of thunder and rain right now.
Love thunderstorms, I find them really soothing even when they're loud af.
