В идеале планирую в будущем перебраться в какую-нибудь англоязычную страну, вроде Канады или Новой Зеландии, благо с английским особых проблем нету.
Но пока у меня нету высшего образования, об этом даже нету смысла думать.

I think the word is derived from "гроза" that is thudernstorm. But it's an ajective, so one could say "грозный", which means terrifying, can be translated as thunderstorm-like. It's not always negative too. You can call a friendly warrior грозный воин or something like that.
The word грозный has been long around before the first chechen war. You can find it in classical literature a lot.
