What's the difference between очи and глаза?

The former is an archaism, and it's currently used only in poerty i guess (or when you want to sound pretentious hehe), while the latter is a valid contemporarty word used by pretty much everyone when referring to eyes.
Both mean "eyes", it's just the former is not used anymore
I thought очи is Ukrainian for Eyes up until this point :v:

Yeah lol, that's where I saw it. Thanks yo. I thought learning to sing russian songs alongside russian class would help me get random vocabulary better, but now I remember that some of the folk that I'm singing is more than a century old
