I went to a restaurant yesterday where they served "spicy" wings. I felt incredibly offended that they weren't spicy despite seeing buffalo redness on the breaded chicken. But the price was 2$ for 6 and the meat was good so I didn't complain too much.
That's my problem too, nothing labelled as spicy is spicy unless it's way too spicy and has a warning, disclaimer, and gets me a t-shirt.
I don't even like eating spicy wings aside from mango habanero because they always use those hot sauces that taste like vinegar and pain and have no flavor.
That's why I had to learn how to cook. I can make food exactly as spicy as I want it to be
I always wondered, is there any bad repercussions for eating spicy food down the line in terms of your colon/stomach/esophagus? Whenever I eat spicy food, while I love it, I always pay for it the day after. Maybe I'm just paranoid since colon cancer runs in my family, but I can't imagine the host's body is unscathed after dabs and dabs of that hell sauce. I'm talking years down the line.
You can develop stomach ulcers as a result of downing too many spicy foods near each other. Like if you eat nothing but spicy foods for like a month.
