Ok, so, i've been thinking. SuperBarry as we know him can't possible exist now because he was from an alternative future. When whatshername first goes down to his pad in like episode 2-3 she sees that news cast of them revealing their powers. Now in the last episode when Curtis went back he stopped that from all happening, so therefore the current normal barry can't ever become the SuperBarry we know and love. Unless the writers oversee this in the plot and just make him superbarry anyway.
We did see super barry coming out in barry when he put his hood up and stopped curtis being stabbed imo

My opinion of Americaifying a show is like this. Let's say your A perfect mother (UK Team) who has the most beautiful baby(Misfits) anyone has seen. So the mum says 'I'm going away for awhile look after the baby' to her drug addicted and drunk sister(US Team). Let's just say by the time the mum comes back every one knows the baby as the crack addicted baby that the UK looked after.
