I loved how Nathan was [sp]eating a cornetto from the freezer as they dumped the body[/sp]. Spoilers for the few people who didn't watch it yesterday.
Fantastic series. Fantastic episode. I was really dreading a disappointment but it's lost nothing. The actor who plays Kelly comes from Derby where I live :D A friend of mine goes to the drama workshop she went to :v:
you know that channel 4 commissioned big brother for 11 series right?
Because before that they were almost broke because of England's shitty ad laws. They only do shit like the xfactor and big brother so they can afford to make shows like Misfits. [editline]12th November 2010[/editline]
Superhero's white, we know that much. Could be the new probation worker? Was really funny. Nathan :h:
Nah, Superhero was about the same size as Nathan, the probation worker is much taller.
He's called Superhoodie. Just to let you know.
He's called Superhoodie. Just to let you know.
He's changed his atire since series 1. Didn't he wear an orange hoodie when he saved Nathan and 'Barry'?
I guess so, but the site and his twitter/facebook still refer to him by the same name as before.
Fucking loved it. Absolutely fucking amazing. Misfits is king. "I appear to have shat myself" "Yeah? Well, can a dead man do THIS?" "Tuti-fruti? Seriously? Fuck it, gimmie." "Monkeyslut." my friend also thinks superhoodie is another curtis who turned back time to help the others [editline]12th November 2010[/editline] save me barry
my friend also thinks superhoodie is another curtis who turned back time to help the others
Superhoodie's white. and whenever Curtis DOES turn back time, he goes into the body of himself at the time.
This show is simply amazing. I live in America so I have to rely on the bros across the pond to upload it. I think euro t.v. is a lot better than the trash they try to pass as watchable here in the U.S. Shit like Ice road trucks, or swamp people. Also, Has anyone gone back to the episode where curtis keeps rewinding time. I'm thinking that episode has to do something with super hoodie. I think this because he seems to know all of them and that episode shows all of them before all this happened.
The first episode of season 2 was much better than I expected it would be. I thought it would be shit, I was gladly surprised.
That people are trying so hard to link Curtis with Superhoodie is getting a bit annoying. Yes, it could have been viable, but Curtis is black, and Superhoodie is white. Why not then think of other possibilities other than those that have been suggested and dismissed already? Also, Superhoodie commented on his Twitter how it got "close with Curtis". I think it'd be different if he were referring to himself.

I really enjoyed that episode, actually. I don't know what I think about the time control thing, though. The whole idea that anything in the show that happens could be simply taken back like that just isn't exactly something I like.

He can only go back in time if he feels really guilty or regretful about something And Superhoody isn't Curtis, their powers are completely different Curtis; Rewinds time, he can't go backwards or forwards at will Power is controlled when he feels regretful or guilty about something he's done, he goes back to before it happened and can stop whatever it is from happening Is an ex-runner Is black Superhoodie; Can foretell the future, and predicts events down to the last second that they occur Does freaky ninja freerunning shit Is white The main thing is that Curtis rewinds time back to where he was at a specific time, whereas everything points to Superhoody having precognitive powers - he can tell the future, and know instinctively or otherwise how to influence events so that they turn out a certain way (hence him being able to throw a paper aeroplane across a river and smack Kelly in the face with it - remember in the film Push with the marble at the beginning?)
Hey look, Cornettos.
Remember in the film Push with the marble at the beginning?)
Someone needs to show me that clip.
Nathan's last name is Young, and he's immortal. Why didn't I realise this before.
I hope Nathan is the new Kenny and he dies every episode. It's going good so far. Also the guy in the body armour suit is clearly Black guy with mastered time travel powers from the future. But then it's so obvious it's probably not. Does anyone know who the guy in the orange hoodie from the first series was? The guy that saved Nathan from the brainwashers on his BMX? [editline]16th November 2010[/editline] Okay read thread Curtis clearly isn't super hoody I suppose [editline]16th November 2010[/editline]
I think the guy that died in the first episode is the one in the costume.
That'd be interesting. But weren't all the people that got powers people who were outside during the storm? I would've thought being dead would kind of hinder your ability to do things as well.
He died after the storm. As the social worker killed him after he went crazy because of the storm
Does anyone know who the guy in the orange hoodie from the first series was? The guy that saved Nathan from the brainwashers on his BMX?
General consensus is that he's the superhoody in the new series.
I'm excited to see episode 2 due to Simon mentioning something about his power reversing, who knows what will happen.
This show is godly! One of the best, if not the best, series for young people imo.
I don't think superhoodie is any existing character. Unless he was every character put in to one or some stupid shit.
Spoilers for Episode 2 [sp]They take pills at a nightclub, that reverse their powers , Simon becomes more noticable, Nathan becomes more vulnerable, Alisha is un-attractive, Curtis goes forward in time to about 5 years and see's himself in a superhero costume on top of a building.[/sp]
