Just finished watching the Christmas episode, I went through both series in about 4 days, it's definitely one of the best TV shows I've watched for ages. I tried watching Skins for the first time after this and I couldn't even finish one episode. But I need a new show to watch. Compared to Misfits, Skins doesn't seem that good, but I suppose I do need to give it a better shot.

Eh, I just think it's the undigested dairy products that he has control over, since he refers to the foods specifically when he's killing / vegetablising (?) people, and only does it with recently ingested food - like the pizza, which they would have eaten less than an hour before he got to them, and the stuff that his girlfriend had eaten at the party a few minutes ago.
The way that he caused those milk cartons to explode at the beginning of the episode shows that he probably wouldn't have too much trouble forcing cheese to break through someone's stomach and find its way around the body through arteries and stuff like that.

It's just a typical cliffhanger ending. But I'll agree with you, the ending to series 1 was a lot better.

Only plot hole i really saw in season 2 was, when they became famous, the girl showed simon who he would become. Then time is rewound, but simon still seems to know that he will become this hero.
