Also why couldn't Curtis bring the iguana back to life, and then Seth could take the power back?
Once you die, the power is gone. Even if you come back.
So, according to wiki [sp]Alisha and Simon are not returning[/sp]. I wonder how they are going to play out that on the next season, if there's going to be one.
Did you not watch the last episode? They're stuck in a time loop. To everyone else, Alisha is dead and buried and Simon has gone missing back in time. Unless you mean how are they going to play out missing an extra two characters. I suppose they'll get more in. Or Seth might become a main member of the group. [editline]19th December 2011[/editline]
I wonder if Nathan will come back, I'd like to see him with Rudy (not romantically)
Nathan would probably just manage to force Rudy's other side to come out all the time, what with all the insults.
I imagine Rudy and Nathan would not get on well.
I was slightly confused at the end of the latest episode [sp] If there's a power that makes you immune to other peoples powers, how did Seth take it? Also, looking back at other episodes with super hoody in, how on earth did he manage some of the crap he did with an immunity power eg- He threw a paper air plane across the river and hit Kelly right in the eye, he also appeared to know to the second when anything was going to happen.[/sp]
[sp]Answer to your paper air plane question: Simon just has incredible accuracy. He did manage to land a peanut into the tattoo artist's mouth while being choked to death and on the floor.[/sp]
Once you die, the power is gone. Even if you come back.
Didn't Nathan die multiple times?
There's no reason to say you cant have multiple powers
Yeah, during the finale of S2, the guy claiming to be Jesus had multiple powers so it's possible Simon does as well.
Didn't Nathan die multiple times?
But that was his power...
But that was his power...
Still, he died and still had his power afterwards.
I don't remember the episode that said the power disappears once the person dies.
I don't remember the episode that said the power disappears once the person dies.
It doesn't surely, cause that teleporting guy's power was still in his heart.
So why are we saying it does? So they could've just dug up the dead guy and had Curtis revive him.
[sp]One thing that confuses me about time paradoxes like in the finale, is where did the 10 grand come from in the first place? The power-holding dude got it from Simon in the past, who got it from the power-holding dude in the future. I mean, presumably the guy has more than 10 grand anyway since he's dealing powers, but he did say he already had 10 grand that he got from future Simon in the past.[/sp]
I think it's not the same money. Seth still sold powers and he said that he'd saved money up. That was probably Seth and Kelly's holiday money.
Eh, it was a good episode but I'm quite disappointed. I honestly don't see how they can go back from this, and I mean, the show didn't really feel the same without Nathan. Now that [sp]Alisha and possibly Simon[/sp] are gone, I really don't see how this is going to pan out well. [editline]19th December 2011[/editline]
when did that happen ? I don't even remember that
And as to this, I was referring to when [sp]Nikki was shot in the face near the end of Series 2[/sp] They don't even seem to care and it's literally not been brought up once since despite the fact that [sp]her and Curtis were very involved[/sp]
To be honest people were saying the show would fail without Nathan, but season 3 has had arguably some of the best episodes. In my opinion Alisha wasn't really necessary as a plot driver, and I really don't see how they could have developed Simon much more as a character, he's already gone through to 'socially awkward guy' to 'superhoodie' phase. Yeah, they were good characters but I'm glad that they're going now before they're just there for the sake of them being there.
The only thing I'm not sure of now is that, well, they have been building Superhoody up over 3 seasons to a big finale, but what next since that's finished. Simon and Alisha could come back, because at the time of filming they wouldn't of known if they had a 4th season so could just presume. I have faith in the writers anyway
i just finished This is England series' andJoe Gilgin (Rudy) basically plays the same character but without the powers and an ex skinhead
I'd say Joe Gilgun as Woody is a lot more emotional, but yeah they are very similar.
i just finished This is England series' andJoe Gilgin (Rudy) basically plays the same character but without the powers and an ex skinhead
What a coincidence, I watched the movie and both series yesterday. I'd agree his attitude is roughly the same, what with not being able to take anything seriously, but I'd say they're both a bit different. Especially what Acezorz said, Woody is way more emotional, especially in '88.
In regards to powers disappearing after someone dies; The argument that Ollie's teleportation power remained in his heart is a good point, I never considered that. However, the Virtue Girl and the first probation worker, Tony, did not have their powers on being alive again.

Remember, the dude's power was to let people speak to spirits, nothing more.

There will be a fourth series, but both Simon and Alisha will not have any new scenes. It is of course possible the writers could create something out of old scenes like they did in the finale with Robert Sheehan, but I don't see the point in doing that.

Do you reckon they just filmed that scene with multiple cameras knowing it'd be used later on?

And Tea is viewing this thread, I haven't seen him post in 4095039402 years.

I think the ending of Series three would be a great ending to the show as a whole. I almost don't want them to make Series four.
I think the ending of Series three would be a great ending to the show as a whole. I almost don't want them to make Series four.
If they ended the whole 'Community Center' aspect of the show here, and showed how the powers affect ordinary people rather than just unusual characters related to the Community Center, I'd be very happy. I really don't see how they could keep the whole CC thing fresh, even as it is now it has gotten old - usually someone rents the community center, and they are involved in that weeks story strongly. I highly doubt they will deviate from it much, if at all, but I think it would be whats best for the series. But that's what Misfits is known for I guess, and if they're getting the ratings, they're not going to do a damn thing.
I doubt that we'll see much of the community center in season 4, if not at all. Just curious, what powers would you guys like the new characters to have?
