I've come up with a theory for who superhoodie could be, I think it may be Nathan.
Lets say that Curtis manages to control his power and is able to use it on other people, later on in the timeline he could send Nathan to the past or an alternate timeline. This would explain how Superhoodie knew where and how to save Nathan from those brainwashed people in series 1, how he knew that Nathan was still alive in the coffin, and also how he knew to save Nathan from the exploding car.
It would also explain the countdown clock in his apartment/bedroom/whatever as he knew how events were going to happen. Curtis could've sent Nathan back in time to save all of their lives, as mentioned previously somebody saw a picture of the new probation worker taking the MisFits hostage.

I can't imagine Nathan ever being that serious.

Well I'm assuming that this is months or years in the future when he got sent back in time. He also began to show signs of maturity when he forgave his dad, also his brother's death or even the death of one of the MisFits might affect his attitude later on.
But even if his attitude doesn't change, superhoodie still shows signs of being mischevious. For instance he decides to save Nathan on a BMX in season 1, and also makes it so that the paper plane hits Kelly in the eye.

Saving Nathan on a BMX is mischevious? Explain.
The hitting Kelly in the eye thing was probably her own fault, it was the way she was facing.
Nah, it isn't Nathan. It's a new character we've never seen before. Stop typing it like MisFits, please, it's Misfits.

Well you wouldn't expect a superhero to be saving somebody on a BMX now would you? It just seems to me like the thing Nathan would have done.
I can't really think of Nathan doing all that hardcore-posing and freerunning...
It's probably me just being boring, but I don't like to speculate who Superhoodie is so much as I like to think why he does what he does, and how he does it...
But yeah, the series is great so far, episode 2 had a great ending :D

Knowing who he is would be the first step towards finding out why he's doing it :v:
I think Superhoody stopped Nathan from getting to the car on the off-chance that he might have saved his brother. His brother had to die to make Nathan feel guilty about it and and go and make up with his dad and everything.

That would make the balance uneven.
Perhaps Nathan gets more mature after this and is better equipped to do something serious rather than acting like a dick all the time?

Actually, it was to prevent Nathan from killing himself. If his power was reversed, it'd mean he'd be more vulnerable, and die for good. Obviously Superhoodie is protecting the group, and doesn't want them drunkenly staggering around killing themselves in car explosions.
I meant as well as the whole saving his life thing :saddowns:
Oh, okay, fair enough :)
Superhoodie being evil is a good theory i've heard.

or him being a Peter Petrelli type character who can take others powers and use them himself.

That'd crossed my mind more than once. Would explain a lot - how he can touch Alisha, how he knows about future events, etc.

AND why he threw himself over the balcony in the last episode.
I think someone's already said it, but what if it's all of them combined somehow?
Also, my friend brought up a good point when I showed him this earlier. All of their powers are more like curses, (Alisha can't be touched ever again (unless it's superhoodie), Kelly can hear what people think about her, Nathan can never die and can see dead people, Curtis can see events happening that he wants to change, but can't unless he feels guilty.)
The only one who has it good is Barry, he seems to have the most control over his power.
superhoodie may also take physical or emotional traits
i.e nathan's childlike spirit when he came up on the bike
curtis' athletic prowess
simon's smart ideas and predictions

You know his name isn't actually Barry? :v:

..Yes. I just like to call him Barry.
Poor barry, getting his drink spiked. :buddy:
Ahhh why can't Thursday get here quicker.
I finally managed to catch up on series 2 so far. Loved the first episode, Nathan is as good as ever. The girl with the creepy eyes would make a good series villain. I hope they use her again as she's really damn creepy.
Episode 2 was cool too, I usually hate when TV shows introduce a main character's estranged family member [sp]only to kill them off half an hour later[/sp] but the scene between Nathan and his father at the end made it all worthwhile. My favourite show is Lost and and this episode gave off that Lost vibe with Curtis having flashed forward. Now we watch as they fill in the gap between now and then.
Also looking forward to finding out what the deal is with the weird masked dude.
Great series, easily my favourite British TV show in a long time.
Guys, I rewatched Series 1.
And I came across something very startling in Episode 4.
Spoiler Alert, Probbably, Don't open if you don't want the most exciting part of the Series ruined.

What I reckon is.
[sp]When Curtis goes forward in episode 4, Causing him not to go into community service, he then goes back to sort it out, so he does get put into Community service, however when he goes forward he creates a Butterfly effect causing Gary's storyline to somehow be altered meaning he has a power, But then he buggered off to elsewhere, also note, Superhoodie never appeared in any episodes before Curtis's.[/sp]
Woah, I'd never thought of that. That's genuis! :D
but Garry would have stormed off anyways, resulting in no power.
but Garry would have stormed off anyways, resulting in no power.
[sp] I said Curtis created a butterfly effect, meaning anything between the scenes from the club to where he meets alisha in the beggining of the episode, might have been changed slightly, due to an alternate timeline. [/sp]
Another plothole to be explained is why Nathans Brother Jamie pretty much forced them all to take pills which specifically reversed their powers.
And by forcing I mean spiking Simon's drink.
Yeah, seems pretty weird that he'd just happen across the pills that did exactly that.
