Heroes is a good example of how trying to explain everything really fuck the show up.
Okay I watched the episode, was better than I expected (low expectations ftw). I was originally watching it just to see what was going to happen next week and I have no fucking idea.
I was really hoping we'd see the "from the bar" guys power, but all we know is it's disgusting, it has something to do with cocks and he's apparently not gay. Also it wasn't really explained how Finn and his half-sister managed to get out of that situation in the bar. He took a knock out punch and in the next scene he didn't even have a little bruise.
Next weeks episode looks crazy. This one was good but it probably raised as many questions as it answered.

Finds dad, he's dying.
Watches his sister getting with some guy at the bar.
Said guy's mates punch Finn in the face.

Jess gets with another guy.
That's this episode alone! Poor Finn.
Also I didn't get to watch the rest of the episode. The cancer topic was a bit sensitive for me and a housemate, so when she started to cry we had to turn it off. Didn't see what happened after that.

The show didn't just 'get rid' of them. The actors moved on.
Then the writers have to write them out.. somehow.
At least with Simon, Alisha, and Curtis, they had notice and could give them a proper ending.
With Nathan (Robert) deciding to go to Hollywood mid season, and Kelly (Lauren) [sp]getting community service[/sp], they had to find a way of making them go, without notice.

It seemed like this guy was specifically chosen, since [sp]he had paid that guy to get photos, and I assume his location as well. [sp]Well, by "dick vampire" I didn't necessarily mean that he needs to suck blood out of them, blood is blood after all. They did say that his power was "disgusting", and I'm getting the overwhelming feeling that he's gotta get something vital out of a dude's dick somehow, or something ridiculous like that (seems kind of like he "needs" to do it). I'm really wondering what it's going to be though, it's not an easy thing to guess from foreshadowing like that.[/sp]
Maybe he can [sp]steal a guys dick by looking at it. Or, he can do that, but it falls off after using it? That would explain why he brushes off the slags who'd hit on him at the bar (since he'd constantly have to be looking at and stealing dicks), and would explain why he's tracking this guy down (kinda). He wants to steal that guys on the off chance him and Jess hook up, but doesn't want to have to keep doing it so often if he did sleep with the girls who hit on him.[/sp]

Also, it'd make his backstory really fucked up if they tried to explain how/why that's his power from the storm.

I was so sure Finn was going to use his ability full force this episode, considering there were some odd effects when he was hit in the face.
My god, that next episode looks amazing. Kind of reminds me of Hotline Miami with the bunny head thing and I believe what could be a weapon that it's holding.
