Also, seeing as the movie is in the works, and all of the old cast are willing to join in, how do you reckon it would pan out?
Do you think that some sort of time travel super power weidling villian sends the current cast backwards in time to around series 1-2, or does the old cast travel to the current time?
Man, I hate how some people still say this season is shit just because Nathan and Simon weren't in it. Fucking fangirls, I swear to fucking god.
The only season that was a bit off was Season 3, they didn't quite know what they were doing, but once they got their flow back the show became great again.
Season 3 had it's ups and downs but I still liked it a lot towards the end. One of the great things about the season was the introduction of Rudy, who probably has to be one of the greatest characters on the show. Alex turned out to be a pretty decent character in the end as well, which is why it's a damn shame the show isn't continuing anymore. But I do look forward to the movie, lets hope it doesn't end up in development hell.
One of my favourite bits of trivia about the show is that the season 4/5 probation worker was in just as many episodes as Nathan
I gotta hand it to C4, they have a knack for ending their own productions while they're on a high.
Better than being run into the ground though.

It pisses me off so much when people tell new fans to stop watching after season 2.
Firstly, season 5 was amazing.
Secondly, Nathan leaving pretty much saved the show.
Rudy is easily the best character. He has all the humor that Nathan had, but 10 times more emotion and character development, especially with Rudy 2.
If Robert had stuck around for season 3, we would have never been introduced to Rudy who possibly would have never made it on the show, and the entire transition from the original cast to the new cast would be so abrupt that everyone would hate it.
