To hell with the Devil by Stryper is a brilliant piece of Hair-Metal Christian rock.

brb, checking some of those out.[/QUOTE]
It is a brilliant thread. I didn't see the fuss :v:
Flyleaf are incredible, try them
Completely forgot about flyleaf.
Their certainly worth a listen.
Though their songs aren't.. openly christian, if that's what you were looking for.
From their one album I've listened to a lot of it seemed to be. It's the album with Cassie on it.
I disagree, they're not in your face christian
Their lyrics revolve around the idea, but they just write music from a spiritual perspective, it's not actually about god or jesus or whatever. I'm not religious and their song themes really strike a chord with me, I love it

Flyleaf are awful, the lead singer is out of tune and she sounds a little bit like she's trying to sing with food in her mouth.

Monster by Skillet. It's a really awesome song and tons of people listen to it not even knowing it's Christian.

Can't get more Christian than that.
Underoath. They rule the post-hardcore scene and are one of the more talented bands. They play out of time, have a unique sound, have two(well, not anymore) good singers. Until their new album released, their past 3 albums have been good, with "They're Only Chasing Safety" being more soft and nothing like what they do today, with "Define the Great Line" as a tough sound, and "Lost In The Sound of Seperation" as a more ominous sound. Definately worth a listen.

This is what I meant Pepin.
Thankyou en-guage for wording it better than I did.

"Preachy?" Slayer preaches satanism and anti-christianism in the same way that Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street preaches the benefits of murder. That is... it doesn't, they're just acting to piss people off.
Get the Vaselines.
Haste The Day is a good christian metalcore band.
And Family Force 5 is a christian band that I used to listen to, it's apparently called "crunk rock".
So it's sort of a rock/pop/rap mix or something.
It's quite catchy IMO. :buddy:

And since when is Satan not a part of Christianity?
Also I know you said satanism, but satanism has around the same standard rules as christianity as both religions pray to peace and love.

Tom is a Christian! :v:
I'll attempt to be friendly to the OP.
You could try listening to hillsong, its a church but they have a band which is alright.
Matt Redman and Chris Tomlin are also good artists, look them up on youtube.
I dont usually listen to this type of music but I play in a worship band for a Christian Youth group I go to and we've played these songs.
