I loved it, was a little worried with all of Sam's complaints and censorship talk but man it was amazing. Can't wait to see all the censored text. It should be illegal to interrupt Sam's unsettling motion graphics edits with nonsense censorship. The little cut with the edited clip of a nurse prepping a syringe next to what is presumably text from mass shooter's diaries gave me a little bit of goosebumps. [editline]6th August 2016[/editline] http://www.adultswim.com/videos/million-dollar-extreme-presents-world-peace/your-vibe-attracts-your-tribe/ Episode 1 (which is actually Episode 5) is available on Adult Swim now.
anywhere a not us citizen can watch this? :/
anywhere a not us citizen can watch this? :/
I got you: 1:12:20
Apparently the show ranked #2 on Friday with just over 1M viewers
i can see why AS didn't want to open with this episode
That was waaaaay better than the first episode.
jews rock was great
jews rock was great
I really don't think they should be letting a serial killer anywhere near children
where can i get one of those chairs?
I didn't really get the last skit for yesterday's episode. A lot better overall though.
this is the song they used in the last skit, it fits the scene so well
where can i get one of those chairs?
It's a Hoyer lift, they're real fun to play with: http://www.1800wheelchair.com/product/hoyer-advance-e-power-lift/
I didn't really get the last skit for yesterday's episode. A lot better overall though.
I think it was basically saying how that one asshole boss everyone has is really just a miserable person in his daily life. Could be wrong, though.
i love sam hyde i think mde and eric andre back to back is a powercombo
I think it was basically saying how that one asshole boss everyone has is really just a miserable person in his daily life. Could be wrong, though.
Pretty much, it's saying that people who are usually dicks are pretty depressed I think it was really good honestly, I'd like if MDE expanded on that with more story.
I'm somewhat surprised this is being so well-received here. MDE is pretty far-right. There was even a "dindu nuffin" joke in the premiere.

World Peace is all about what's happening in the world sloshed together with those two shows. Hyde makes fun of both the left and right movements, almost like SP so their political affiliation is pretty much apolitical if anything Hyde's a bit of a dick but his humour is pretty much on point with [as] standards
What was the outro on the first episode? I'm really digging the shows aesthetic.
You don't have to agree with all of Sammy's view points to find the show entertaining.
I suppose? But I didn't even find it comedic? It just seems like weird, poorly organized and angry sketches that are framed like comedy but don't seem to have a pay off. I like the aesthetic, but the performances and stuff don't get me. To each their own, however, good for them for getting it on the air. I'm skeptical about the censorship being legitimate - some of it seems fake - but it doesn't matter much either way.

I definitely prefer when they're subtle or when it's just total absurdity, like the angry boss sketch from episode 2. When Nick was criticizing that girl for lying about cheating I was just like "okay.. I get it.. Women are liars, next please". I think the first episode was pretty perfect but the anti-woman lecturing in Ep2 was too much for me. I still enjoyed the skit overall but I kinda cringed at the ending when he laughs at Charls like they just said something super hilarious.
MDE does definitely try to cater to their right wing fanbase but they should stay to being as apolitical as possible i really like the last sketch in episode 2 though, it was actually really good, i really want more of that
how'd they get paul bernardo on this show and why are they calling him charls
MDE does definitely try to caterto their right wing fanbase
Uh he IS right wing there's no catering. It's HIS views. Love SAM
cringed at the ending when he laughs at Charls like they just said something super hilarious.
They were laughing because Nick went from being super savage 4th wall breaking like in Moms to accidentally calling him Chuck, the nickname they all call him. Apparently none of the women in the sketch were coached at all.

I don't think he's a dick - just not afraid to make an ass out of himself or criticize everyone. He regularly does both, and that's why he is enjoyable. I think this is a good example of him not really being drawn to any side but being very individual about life - he's not ready to write off the left entirely and he can see the good with the bad, which is something I'd definitely say most people cannot do. Most people are just one-sided.
What was the outro on the first episode? I'm really digging the shows aesthetic.
Found it for anyone wondering [editline]15th August 2016[/editline] The Wall sketch wasn't anti-women by Sam and Nick and their opinions, more on how the media views women maturing. For anyone who doesn't know "The Wall" refers to when a woman turns the 30 she is for some reason seen as not being sexually desirable in some peoples PoV. All the characters in the skit were nearing 30(the one chick Nick goes off on is 29) but were describing what is typically thought of as college/early 20s behaviour so the media presenter goes off on them. Not saying I agree with it but that's the feeling I was getting from it
MDE's politics are fairly vague. They're very consistently anti pop and consumer culture but all members have expressed various right/left opinions. In the descrpition for their "New Stuff" vid that's been unlisted since, Sam complained about the huge alt-right crowd he was attracting and asked people to tone it down. That was over a year ago, though.
even if mde were exclusively right-wing i'd still watch as it is good to examine and interact with the full spectrum of beliefs as a way to temper your own. also: ace as fuck musical choices all the time and all around [editline]15th August 2016[/editline] i'd say a lot of their stuff is beyond the right/left dichotomy
