how'd they get paul bernardo on this show and why are they calling him charls
Are you implying Charls would be satisfied ruining the lives of only three people?
The Wall sketch wasn't anti-women by Sam and Nick and their opinions, more on how the media views women maturing. For anyone who doesn't know "The Wall" refers to when a woman turns the 30 she is for some reason seen as not being sexually desirable in some peoples PoV. All the characters in the skit were nearing 30(the one chick Nick goes off on is 29) but were describing what is typically thought of as college/early 20s behaviour so the media presenter goes off on them.
Not saying I agree with it but that's the feeling I was getting from it
This interpretation makes a lot more sense for me. Putting it in the context of a near-30 year old woman acting like she's 20 makes sense, for whatever reason I just didn't really pick up on that vibe.
MDE's politics are fairly vague. They're very consistently anti pop and consumer culture but all members have expressed various right/left opinions. In the descrpition for their "New Stuff" vid that's been unlisted since, Sam complained about the huge alt-right crowd he was attracting and asked people to tone it down. That was over a year ago, though.
Yeah I thought it was funny when Sam basically told the alt-right /pol/ crowd to stop posting shit like "oy vey goyim" on all their videos because they were making MDE look like idiots by association. Sam definitely has been capitalizing on the /pol/ shit to try and ride the increasing alt-right popularity, but it seems like World Peace has been a bit more neutral which I'm grateful for.

I really, really hope they release full versions of all this seasons' music videos. I doubt they would film such complex videos just to show 15 seconds of them. I'm crossing my fingers for an extended and uncut release of season 1 after it's finished airing, I need to know what's behind all the censored texts.
I'm just glad this show is on the air, feels like the perfect time and what TV needs right now
iirc a facepuncher does music for the show
I think it was basically saying how that one asshole boss everyone has is really just a miserable person in his daily life.
Could be wrong, though.
also pretty sure it was supposed to be the [as] office seeing as the guy who looked like [sp]eric andre[/sp] appeared at the end

I think the show has a mix bundle of people who come from all backgrounds and political affiliations that makes MDE unique in a way where it's vague and causes the audience to think what their message is and who they're really catering towards
i definitely do agree that television does need some new talent like MDE to shake things up, i hope [as] starts looking towards new talent from the internet to bring their network some spice
I've actually seen Sam Hyde defend the left and break character too. I don't think he's a dick - just not afraid to make an ass out of himself or criticize everyone. He regularly does both, and that's why he is enjoyable.

I think this is a good example of him not really being drawn to any side but being very individual about life - he's not ready to write off the left entirely and he can see the good with the bad, which is something I'd definitely say most people cannot do. Most people are just one-sided.
I think you're being a little bit optimistic, which I understand. But you can't take Sam Hyde's words for anything. He gets off on amusing himself by fucking with other people.
The likely scenario here is that he's basking in the fact that Bernie supporters got fucked, and rubbing it in in some sort of subtle, heavily ironic way.
You don't have to agree with all of Sammy's view points to find the show entertaining.
I agree with you, but Facepunch is pretty exclusively left-wing, and they react as such towards most right-wing things. I'm just saying it's weird to see something that has completely inverse political views to FP being praised so well, here.
Can a mod change the title to "WORLD PEACE (Million Dollar Extreme / Sam Hyde / FRIDAYS @ 12.15am [as])"?
The majority or Facepunch switches sides quite a bit with different issues. It take s some overlooking to say that Facepunch is left or right wing.
I enjoy MDE's stuff so much, the delivery, the editing, the whole aesthetic so much, regardless of whether I agree with the particular political point they're making, it's a great watch either way. I look forward to Eric Andre then World Peace each week once I've finished work!

FP is a mixture but there has been an insurgence of alt righters or right wings gaining momentum typically when refugees or social views like gender come up in SH
But MDE to me is about trying to figure out what message or political stance they're trying to convey without being too obvious, allows the audience to have interaction with the show and not be brain dead while watching it

I always wondered if that's the guy from Thanks Computer? Did MDE just took in Thanks Computer since Kurush is sometimes in their vids? Also when is Kurush gonna be in the TV show????

love the music in this show. hope he uploads that jazzy theme from the wall show when they were showing off the guys
The whole point of MDE is to counter current culture and politics. Skits like the boss skit where instead of showing an asshole boss as a complete tool, they show the other side of the coin.
welp, looks like they had to backpedal a bit on the marketing thing.
Please do not kill Hillary Clinton and namedrop WORLD PEACE. We will actually be royally fucked if some heavy shit goes down because of us. However if anyone can get serious media attention sent over here and it doesn't get us fired, we will still honor the sacred terms of the contest, because contests are sacred and honor-bound.
Contest is still on boys.. Just don't do anything too naughty
the comedioterrorists cannot be stopped
that laugh
Honestly I can't even really stand MDE or Sam Hyde but I've seen both episodes because a few of my friends have been watching, and I really like the interstitial bumps and everything that the show is packed in with. Maybe it's because I was a huge fan of adult swim bumps back when I was a kid/teenager but I wish more shows on adult swim would embrace that late night weirdness potential

The stakes have never been higher.
Apparently tonight's episode is supposed to be really insane.. Excited to see what they pull out of their sleeve for this one. Next week is supposed to be prime as well.
sucking down cigarettes, chugging rockstars, planning my assassination of ███████ ███████ waiting for MillionDollarExtreme Presents: WORLD PEACE
Sam's blackface was a nice touch. I was surprised they were allowed to get that past the censors.

I feel like they did because I was instead so distracted by whatever was stuffed up Sam's nose that I hardly noticed the blackface.
Also that last sketch was something beautiful, definitely my favorite episode yet

Either way, they got away with a lot of ballsy shit this episode. Them calling out Flint was hilarious.
I don't get why AS censored all the stuff they did, yet let stuff like that slide.
Just realized I missed Episode 3, goddammit.
It'll probably be up on YouTube in like an hour, right?
