Yes, disc 2 is my favorite because that's when it gets really dark. Everything else prior, i.e. disc 1, is just for building up to disc 2.
I thought there were other songs on disc 2 that were very Floyd, other than Numb.

The Show Must Go On (even though they'd never done harmonies like that before, for some reason I think it's still very Floyd. I like the fact that they brought in Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys to help them with that track.)

Nobody Home was one of my favorite parts of The Wall Live. Roger's there just sitting in a mini-hotel room that pops out of The Wall. And it was really great when everyone sang along to "I've got 13 channels of shit on the TV to choose from." :v:
I still love watching the videos of The Wall show where Rog is doing Mother and he sings "Mother should I trust the gov ernment?" Accompanied with all the "NO! FUCK NO! BULLSHITTTTTTTTT" from the audience the Wall-screen changes into the graffiti "Fuck no" I really wish I'd have had the dosh to see that show, it must've been grand.
