He's still got that chipped tooth.
Jesus, man, how close are you to the stage? Apparently, the best seats are near the mixers because that's where the sound is best, and you get to take in a good view of the show. I'm thinking of going again and bringing a camera this time around.
Craaaaaaaaaazyyyyy toys in the aaaaaaatttic i am craaaaaazyyyyy! Truly gone fishing! THERE MUST HAVE BEEN A DOOR THERE IN THE WAAAAAAALL!!
I love the bit in Dunroamin, Duncarin, Dunlivin where you can here "In the Flesh" Breaking through
Listened to The Wall while digging a trench at work today. Felt great. Listened to The Division Bell afterwards. Didn't feel as great.
So guys, for my intro to 3D modeling class, our final project was to choose a quote from song lyrics, a book or something and then model an abstract of it. I chose "Welcome to the Machine my Son! What did you dream?" I'm thinking of making the a triangle shaped massive machine with cogs, wheels, gears, and winches with a conveyer belt feeding empty beds into it. Inside the machine it has a giant massive stamp press that's human shaped. I can't make it too obvious its related to Floyd. So I figure the giant triangle with extended lit surfaces to do the rainbow would be enough.

Delicate Sound Of Thunder one is awesome for the animated birds in the background.
Just did a presentation in class today, did a long one on The Dark Side of the Moon, along with a short history on the Floyd itself, did pretty good, although the clip out of Time I was going to play didn't work... I guess the mainstream peeps will have to wait a better day to hear the magic of the Floyd...

So my final project for my Intro to 3D modeling is choose a quote from a song, book, movie or TV show and make a scene around that. I chose, "Welcome my son to the machine! What did you dream?" The background will be a large desert/dune night scene. There will also be a river of blood flowing form behind the machine that will lead to pumps feeding the machine's energy tanks. Meanwhile a conveyor belt will be feeding in beds from a pile of beds which are dropped in from a crane.
Have any of you guys listened to The Wall in one sitting?
I sleep with my winamp player set to random to every album from Meddle and up.
Have any of you guys listened to The Wall in one sitting?
Yes, it is a great thing to do.
Did it. Somehow, my life feels complete. I'm also probably going to the live one in May.
Have any of you guys listened to The Wall in one sitting?
I wasn't aware you could do it any other way
I'm so making the WYWH one my wallpaper
Don't, its the shit US album cover where he is standing upright
Have any of you guys listened to The Wall in one sitting?
3 times on Journeys, twice on vinyl, and two or three times when on my PC. Otherwise I'd only play the first 6 or so tracks when a quick listen. I don't even like it as much as Moon or Animals or WYWH, but I've listened to it a LOT.
