Dark side of the moon is a very wet record
Not even joking, its really wet
It gets me wet that's for sure.
It just SOUNDS wet
also on the topic of wet, shine on you crazy diamond is popular in porn videos
fact
I once saw a vintage one that played DSOTM in its entirety in the background.
Sunn O)))?
No, he'll only get through 1 or 2 songs on the way.
So, out of curiosity, has anyone else here listened to Pink Floyd to help them fall asleep? I've found myself listening to either Animals, The Wall or Dark Side and usually pass out in the first ten minutes.
I decided to lie down and listen to Dark Side once, fully clothed and everything. This was about 1 am.
Next thing I knew it was 5 am, my headphones still on, and Dark Side having 10 more listens.

Oh, and I was on the couch downstairs.
So I must have walked down two flocks of stairs whilst not really sleeping.
Us and Them knocks me out if I'm really tired.
if Comfortably Numb was a punk song it'd be Comfortably Dumb.
if Comfortably Numb was a stoner song it'd be Comfortably Hung/Strung
huehuehuehueh
If Thom Yorke bought a computer it would be an OK Computer
If Comfortably Numb was a math rock song it would be Comfortably Sum
If Comfortably Numb was a rap song it would be called Come On Big Bum.
If Comfortably Numb would be a classical song it would be called Pink Floyd's 11th symphony, 19th movement.
I just listened to The Dark Side of the Moon for the first time.
It felt like it was so short, but it was awesome. Like I just sat down for like 10 minutes and it was over but it really wasn't. It's a really powerful album, even now, I think. This probably would've blown my mind had I heard in back in '73.

Not to say it didn't have a great affect on me. It was a really comfortable album to me. I don't really know what that means, but I felt really comfortable while listening to it. Maybe that's why it went by so quick.
well, when I get to Great Gig In The Sky I just feel so euphoric, I guess, is a good term to describe it. After that it's this steady decline.
edit:
also if Comfortably Numb was an Irish Drinking Song, it'd be Comfortably Rum.

Really, though. How can you hate the second half if you love the first half?
HOW CAN YOU HATE BRAIN DAMAGE!?

It takes a while to fully sink in. At first you'll like the sounds, but thereafter you'll like the feelings.

I never used to get why Hey You wasn't in the movie, But now i do. It doesn't fit, and i cannot visualize how it would look in-film.
Pink Floyd is forever, I've got T-shirts and jackets and vinyls and all my friends haven't heard of the Floyd until I told them. :suicide:

Oh no, someone hasn't heard of a band that used to be famous 40 years ago!
Better kill myself!
Just then the phone rang,
I never had the nerve to make the final cut.

APNG format, by the way.
Doesn't seem to work as an abandon thread gif, unless its the TV that represents the user, which doesn't make a whole lotta sense.

I guess it kind of looks like a computer monitor?
