Oh god whose idea was it to let Cyndi Lauper sing Another Brick II at Berlin 1990?
Oh god whose idea was it to let Cyndi Lauper sing Another Brick II at Berlin 1990?
Cyndi Lauper is great but she didn't suit the song at all. :v: Didn't Roger lip-sync the entire thing too?
Probably
I have no clue how a person would feel performing in front of literally hundreds of thousands.
I have no clue how a person would feel performing in front of literally hundreds of thousands.
I've acted infront of a couple hundred people before, The easiest way is just to space yourself out and imagine they're not there.
I thought Bryan Adams was pretty good on Young Lust. I only mostly hear him on soft rock radio stations. :v: Also, no-shirt Roger. :barf:
Has one of the best iterations of Another Brick III ever.
I've acted infront of a couple hundred people before, The easiest way is just to space yourself out and imagine they're not there.
I've done a bit of acting too but it's hardly the same as performing what you are. Acting is pretty much about disconnecting your own character into something else, so theatre would be easier to do.
If Comfortably Numb was a Rush song it would be aboot Canadian things.
Finally got listening to Wish You Were Here Dis goin' good.

Let It Be?
Let It Be?
That... and the title is what David Gilmour said in Live at Pompaii...
I fucking LOVE WYWH. [editline]6th December 2011[/editline] Friend made this:
What i really love about Sheep is when about the 2 min mark where it just kicks in and it sounds like all hell is going loose.
I love listening to Animals on the bus in the morning. Everyone's looking so mellow and blank in their faces, so the music makes a nice contrast, sort of. [editline]7th December 2011[/editline] Actually, it goes rather nice with the situation because I find the music to be quite mellow, and the situation is quite mellow. So, yeah.
>DSOTM and WYWH Immersion albums have marbles >The Wall immersion probably doesn't >"THEY MUST HAVE TAKEN MY MAAAAARBLES AWAY"

I finally went and got 4 more discovery remasters (Ummmagumma, Obscured By Clouds, A Momentary Lapse Of Reason, The Division Bell), now all I need are the first 3 albums and I'll finally have the whole discography on CD.
Just went to a Pink Floyd tribute band, Absolutely Floyd, and it was very very good.
