...Sweet mother of Jesus. I just found this website - which I won't post because he does have full discographies or artists and I don't feel like getting banned for warez, but he has all these fucking bootlegs too. His music collection is fucking insane. He has several Floyd bootlegs, which I plan on listening to later.
PM me too man!
The thing with Bootlegs. They're almost always bad quality/bitrate and poorly recorded. Why can't they be like Bob Dylan and release every damn thing they recorded in an official package. Even his bootleg recordings were pressed on high quality columbia vinyl. :v:
Some of the bootlegs are great. There's a really well-recorded live version of Animals out there.
If you want high quality Pink Floyd ROIOs, look for ones done by Harvested Records, it's an indie label devoted to remastering and re-releasing their bootlegs and live videos.

He recently uploaded a bootleg of a concert on December the 9th with near perfect live sound quality. And for everyone asking, here's a link to one of the Floyd bootlegs...if you want to check out the site you can from there. Not sure if you're allowed to do that. But whatever, Animals love is gonna be awesome.
Here's a Harvested Records remaster for you to orgasm over. [hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELlpn7lszNk[/hd]

Serious or sarcastic?
Serious or sarcastic?
Very, very, very, very, very, very serious.
You're being sarcastic.
You're being sarcastic.
No way.
Did you know? That Roger hated Genesis.
Did you know? That Roger hated Genesis.
Roger is a prick though like I can't emphasise it enough, he may be a genius but he's an absolute asshole
I'd be an asshole too if my real name was George.
george harrison wasn't an asshole
David Gilmour hates these bands in this order (first one being the most hated): Yes ELP Genesis King Crimson :(
David...bro...
I really think that Pink Floyd are a sore thumb in the Prog scene, for some reason they just don't fit together with the others.
Pink Floyd's true calling was psychedelic jam rock with tight structures.
For like a tenth of their discography.
David Gilmour hates these bands in this order (first one being the most hated): Yes ELP Genesis King Crimson :(
Terrible, just terrible.
Can't blame anyone for hating ELP. Even though I like them.
Prog hating prog is just wrong.
Pink Floyd probably hate being labelled as prog
Very true. Then again, forgetting their roots isn't a good thing.
Their roots were not prog at all, Most prog musicians are blues/jazz players at heart In fact, I'm fair sure I've read somewhere that Pink Floyd didn't consider themselves to be influenced by any bands particularly, they just got together and did what felt natural
I'm talking about their early years. You can't make a genuine psych rock masterpiece then forget about it. There's no respect for Syd's actual musicality.
