Whaaa didn't think THAT much.
He best be donating it to something soon!
He best be donating it to something soon!
You know he'll give it all to random protesters because he is a wannabe Anarchist turned Philanthropist
Roger Waters' net worth = $145 million :psyboom:
Then again the Wall Live tour costs 1.5mil per performance. i doubt he makes that money back in ticket sales from a single show.
Then again the Wall Live tour costs 1.5mil per performance.
I doubt that. [editline]3rd January 2012[/editline] sources?
Source: Wikipedia. I think there's a verified source there. [editline]3rd January 2012[/editline] http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/moslive/article-1327045/Roger-Waters-Backstage-prepares-The-Wall-live-show.html?ito=feeds-newsxml $63 Million to set up the entire tour.
daily mail lol. but if he's performing 190 shows then 63/190 = £330000 per show not 1.5 mil. [editline]3rd January 2012[/editline] also seeing as he apparently grossed over $10 mil for the 6 London shows, I doubt he makes a loss...
I think I heard somewhere that Mason was the second richest Floyd, which kind of surprised me.
I think the fact that he played drums on every single Floyd band track, makes that not surprising. Think about it, The Wall would have got him a crapload of royalties. Second most after Roger imo.
Nick was the only member to stay in the Floyd for it's whole career too.
Nick was the only member to stay in the Floyd for it's whole career too.
That. He is one smart cookie, probably will be the last one to pass on (I feel like a dick for saying that too).

Second most after Roger imo.
Actually, bit of trivia because thats not entirely true - Had Roger stayed on after Final Cut, Nick would have been phased out pretty quickly, because even during the final cut Roger employed Ray Cooper to supplement Mason's drumming and even phased Mason out entirely on Two Suns in the Sunset, which is done by Andy Newmark. Then during Momentary Lapse of Reason, Mason was hardly involved in the recording at all and most of the drum recordings are session drummers Not that anyone would consider those two albums to be best sellers :v:
Didn't Gilmour also program drums on some songs for MLOR? [editline]3rd January 2012[/editline]
I think I heard somewhere that Mason was the second richest Floyd, which kind of surprised me.
It's Gilmour, whose net worth is $130 million. Nick's is $75 million.
On an unrelated obsessive subject, Is it just me or is the 1980 Wall tour the creepiest of all visually played-out versions of The Wall?
Didn't Gilmour also program drums on some songs for MLOR?
Nope.

It's a shame, but then again the Radio KAOS album is quite a good example of an 80s Floyd.
On an unrelated obsessive subject, Is it just me or is the 1980 Wall tour the creepiest of all visually played-out versions of The Wall?
probably, the new puppets aren't as creepy as the old puppets.
probably, the new puppets aren't as creepy as the old puppets.
The surrogate band.. That warped M.C... Jesus christ. I had nightmares of them.
Nope.
I could've sworn I read that somewhere. [editline]4th January 2012[/editline]
The surrogate band.. That warped M.C... Jesus christ. I had nightmares of them.
Those surrogate band masks are probably lying around somewhere.
I could've sworn I read that somewhere.
Well it could be, but I highly doubt it. I remember reading somewhere that Nick Mason did none of the drums on MLOR without a source too, which imo seems a lot more plausible then Gilmour programming drums... and in 1987. [editline]4th January 2012[/editline] On the contrary of a large dislike for MLOR, I listened to it and really enjoy On The Turning Away and Sorrow. The album itself just lacks the conceptual element most Floyd albums have. It's almost as if the album was released just for the sake of putting out poorly written songs. Not the biggest Roger Fan Boy but TFC has more emotion, more purpose to it. And as I've said before even The Division Bell does.
Those surrogate band masks are probably lying around somewhere.
They're probably in Roger's posession, as they were on the cover of ITAOT?

You'd have to be thick to not realize i was talking about Is There Anybody Out There
You'd have to be thick to not realize i was talking about Is There Anybody Out There
You could've, well, you know, typed the whole name of the album. It would be a lot easier for everyone and its not like its that long of a name.
It's not as long as Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict
It's not as long as Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict
It's not as avant-garde as he suggests in the song.
Well it could be, but I highly doubt it.
David did use a drum machine for AMLOR http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Momentary_Lapse_of_Reason yeah its wikipedia, but it's got a source there.
the whole thing?
It says Learning to Fly and Sorrow, but doesn't say about the rest.
That's strange. I only doubted it because the drums sound the same on all tracks. Maybe he programmed a human to play on the kit. [editline]5th January 2012[/editline] So my friends and I (the ones that could be fucked) changed our names and display pictures on facebook to pink floyd members.
