They really need to fucking release the higher-quality earls court Wall show on DVD.
Pink Floyd is basically, life.
Saucerful isn't that noisy. It's quite insane and weird, which is good.
It's an auditory simulation of a battle and the aftermath.
I'm addicted to this
They really should've kept those synth drops at what becomes the "Lord is my Sheppard" part (it starts at 7:37 for those who have no idea what I'm talking about).
I'm addicted to this
My favorite Pink Floyd song just got a whole lot better.
I swear to god if the Experience edition of The Wall has the "Pink Floyd The Wall" bit printed on instead of a sticker(LIKE THE FUCKING DISCOVERY VERSION) i'm gonna torch someone's house.
Oh By The Way Box set > Discovery by miles.
Oh By The Way Box set > Discovery by miles.
I won't deny that but the price of Oh By The Way is fucking astonishing, that and there are tons of bootlegs about. [editline]18th January 2012[/editline] Although to be honest i prefer the remasters, Being a sound engineer and voice actor means i can notice the differences, and i REALLY do, For example, WYWH is an entire semitone higher in pitch, and The Wall is overall clearer. Dark Side is smoother overall etc. And i'm a real fucking whore for quality.
the price of Oh By The Way is fucking astonishing
That's because it's rare.
Seen it.
I have Wall on LP but it didn't have the sticker on it. I'm not too bothered because it was dirt cheap.
Why would you want that bloody sticker? it's awful. [editline]18th January 2012[/editline] I really love(AKA hate) how people are trying to flog Vinyl versions of The Wall on Ebay for like £30 when realistically, due to the sheer amount they pressed, it's worth about £5 and under, Just like War Of The Worlds, i have an original pressing of WOTW but since they pressed so fucking many it's worse less than the socks i'm wearing.
Same with DSOTM. Whats so rare and high prestige about one of the most pressed vinyls of all time?
If you go to charity shops or like those big charity antique places you can find pretty much every Floyd record for about £1 or less. [editline]18th January 2012[/editline] One thing i noticed with the Discovery set: All the fucking discs are kept in little rough cardboard sleeves! Surely that's an absoloutely retarded idea since you know, cardboard is rough, disks scratch easily, and overall the combination is pretty dumb? I know vinyl records are stored in paper sleeves but the insides of them are like, glossy and waxy.
I swear to god if the Experience edition of The Wall has the "Pink Floyd The Wall" bit printed on instead of a sticker(LIKE THE FUCKING DISCOVERY VERSION) i'm gonna torch someone's house.
I swear to god if you complain about something incredibly benign and stupid like that again, Roger and I will torch your entire home town.
I swear to god if you complain about something incredibly benine and stupid like that again, Roger and I will torch your entire home town.
It's not benign and stupid, It ruins the entire point of the sticker. The point of it being a sticker is because the art is MEANT to be JUST the wall, Infact i wouldn't be surprised if it was the record's decision to even HAVE the sticker there. Plus it's fucking ugly. [editline]18th January 2012[/editline] Oh and one thing you can't deny is that the discovery discs look awful. I mean, really. Fucking triangles.
It's actually the letter D, made all "elaborate" and shit. And the red font make's it look like it's written in blood now.
Which makes it even worse. [editline]19th January 2012[/editline] Buyers remorse/justification?
I've had The Trail and Comfortably Numb stuck in my head all week. Can't wait for The Wall vinyl reissue.
Which makes it even worse. [editline]19th January 2012[/editline] Buyers remorse/justification?
I just like the red font I guess...
got Original pressings of both, plus DSOTM and WYWH
I have an original pressing of DSOTM, The Wall, and your favourite Floyd album.
Final Cut?
Final Cut?
Right on the money.
But again they pressed so goddamn many(The Wall is the most sold doublealbum ever) that they are worth less than the cardboard the records are in
I thought the White album was
But again they pressed so goddamn many(The Wall is the most sold doublealbum ever) that they are worth less than the cardboard the records are in
Get an original pressing then get it signed by Roger.
