Same with DSOTM. Whats so rare and high prestige about one of the most pressed vinyls of all time?

If you go to charity shops or like those big charity antique places you can find pretty much every Floyd record for about £1 or less. Surely that's an absoloutely retarded idea since you know, cardboard is rough, disks scratch easily, and overall the combination is pretty dumb? I know vinyl records are stored in paper sleeves but the insides of them are like, glossy and waxy.
