Looking very good, is it any harder to reload the Longshot with the grip so close to the clip?
That Maverick looks like it came from the factory like that.

The magazine is stuck inside the gun, I have to sand down the forward grip. Otherwise, no.

The secret is to remove the cylinder and the slide, then wrap the grip in tape and use a precision exacto-blade to remove excess tape from the yellow portion, so you don't spraypaint the silver by accident, and that also creates a fine line between the silver and the black, looks more professional that way. Hit it with fine-grained (150) sandpaper to dull the sheen and there you go.

As someone who plans to paint a Maverick or two for a sort of Steampunk outlaw outfit, that's a handy tip.
Will the gun get it's sheen from painting?
My Mom Bout Me Sum Of These But They Only Shot Like 5 Feet THey Sucked

Yeah, the spraypaint is naturally shiny.
I've got the Recon, 2 Mavericks, a Buzz Bee double barrel, and a Vulcan.
Shit's so cash, gonna get a Bow & Arrow next
You need a jarate next?
Yeah, the spraypaint is naturally shiny.
Ok, thanks, was worried about losing the shine.

Addendum: Unless you specifically buy matte paint.

I figured that much. Matte finishes can be ok in some instances, but I'm wanting a shine.

Be sure to prime the plastic beforehand (use the same really fine grained sandpaper and go over the surface of the plastic. It makes it a little bit rougher so the paint sticks to the plastic better).

SO a can of primer as well.
Been considering getting a nerf gun, which ones are nice shotgun/rifle-y ones?
for shotgun get a buzzbee doubleshot and for rifle i'd get a longstrike unless you can find a longshot
Or just buy a raider, it's the ultimate weapon.

There's also Alpha Trooper which is a bit smaller.
Alpha trooper is better. It's lighter, and has the 18 round drum.
The recon is fun as fuck to walk around with (I have a raider stock)

stampede
Get the Alpha Trooper. Its shorter barrel gets it better ranges than the Raider but the Raider comes with a 35 round drum and the AT only 18
The new Dart Tag line look fucking cool
The Quick 16 Blaster

The Swarmfire

Sharp Shooter Blaster

I never liked the dart tag line tbh.
Magazines that even fit the Velcro darts? Oh hell yes.
And the first two look pretty :krad2:
I don't like how the mag is backwards on the first one
Those 2 new ones...I understand the quick 16, but the swarmfire looks quite complicated to use.

It's not complicated. You load the front, turn on the gun, and shoot.
You can off the stock. Not that you'd want to.

Me neither but I Think that swarmfire looks really neat!
I really love those guns, but honestly, I only use guns that are compatible with streamline darts. It's too much of a hassle to keep track of different types of ammo.
