The Barrel Break doesn't use shells. It's awesome, in my opinion. But for Zombies, it's gonna sucks. Maybe use it as a secondary.
Oh! I'm gonna take a guess and say that he (and I) were mixing up the Nerf shotgun with the Buzzbee Double Shot which does use shells.

Nah nah I want to get the Barrel Break BECAUSE it doesn't use shells, I've used the Double Shot before, coolest gun on the planet, but the shells kill it for me (as cool as they look).
So, what darts does the barrel break work with?

It can only use Whistler, Micro, and suction darts. No streamlines.

Ah, ok. Thanks.
I had a Recon and Longshot.
Both are so damn hard to get the magazine out.
And the Recon jammed.
Still, I loved them.
Now if only I had somebody to play NERF with...
My Recon is trashed because I figured Elmer's Glue is great to use for attaching foam. It's jammed and it only runs well when I run water through it, and most of the screws are stripped to fuck so I don't want to disassemble it again. :/

Damn, really? Nevermind then, I only use streamlines.
Well, its day three of my stampede ownership and the batteries are already fucking dead. At least I hope thats all. It shoots two or three darts, then just shuts off.
If it were possible, I'd want to mod the inside of a Maverick in order to make it semi-auto without an intense trigger pull.
For something like a Longshot, just thinking hypothetically here, but if you had a strong enough motor you could probably mount it on there and use it as a flywheel to rotate the bolt back and forth, with a button in the rear of the trigger guard or something that's depressed every time you pull the trigger.
I guess you could do that to one, the resistance of the slide/bolt isn't too strong on most nerf guns so it might be possible with a little creative thinking to do something like my ramblings above. :v:

Hmm that shouldn't happen, I use rechargeables personally, they don't last too long, but it saves you SO much money.
I thought of making my Maverick cock-able via a hammer instead of a slide, But I didn't have any proper materials.

That would be awesome. Maybe you should do it with a Spectre instead if you get the chance, they tend to be stronger and more reliable.

If I'm understanding your post correctly, then that's pretty much how the stampede works.
My friend spent a bunch of money on a Nerf minigun
but It'd always break and I'd beat him with a pistol

I guess, I haven't been up to date on the more recent nerf guns. If that's the case though, then at least the concept is sound. :buddy:
I checked my stampede and the fucking batteries were loose. *Prepares for box landslide*
On another note I went through all my darts and guns and everything is in working order, even my ancient firefly and longshot. I just wish the clip system guns didn't have a tendency to destroy darts. Had to throw out quite a few.
Just remembered that I have a really old breach-loaded single shot Nerf gun in my closet! No darts, though.
... Attach AK stock, AKS74u foregrip, Eotech, and rail to it, yes or no?

Hell no. Go back to your Call of Duty if you want something like that

Aside from the fact that it would look absolutely awful...it seems like it would be uncomfortable, and about ten times more work than it's worth.

That's odd indeed. I haven't needed new batteries for my Stampede since I got it.
Maybe you used shitty batteries?
How about turning it off when not in use.
I've just changed my Maverick into a Airsoftgun.
Just got a Raider, it reminds me so much of a shotgun from Borderlands or something. :v:
Just a few days ago I managed to get a laser sight on my longshot
It's pretty accurate until about 15 feet.
-fucking join.me-

Since I've been playing it with you, care to share? :v:

They have pre-orders for the upcoming guns.
Is it just me or does the Raider look better with the 6 round magazines?
Or, better yet, does anybody wish the mag release on the Raider was on the front instead of the rear? Makes it harder to remove with one hand.
I remember when I first got whistling rounds. I spent almost all day in the longest hallway of my house firing them over and over, because getting them to whistle was so satisfying.
