Is it just me or does the Raider look better with the 6 round magazines?
Or, better yet, does anybody wish the mag release on the Raider was on the front instead of the rear? Makes it harder to remove with one hand.
try it with the 18 round mags

Sten lookalike?
Sten lookalike?
damn right
Hell no. Go back to your Call of Duty if you want something like that
If I was a Codfag I'd call it an "AK74U" :downs:
The Vortex line has just been revealed. It's basically disc launchers but with magazines and shit but it looks cool though and the ranges those things get are better than usual stock dart blasters. Can't wait to get it.

Did I see a grip?! Holy shit
Unfortunately with disk launchers, they have a problem of curving mid flight. You'd have to not only judge for gravity, but also you'd have to account for the disk curving. It can be a good thing though, you can hit people behind obstacles maybe.
That's pretty neat i guess.

That blaster with the ejectable mag? A thing of beauty.

they should buy a better camera

Disk guns never really took off last time i checked, nice in door guns, but terrible out doors. It makes Streamlines look accurate.
Slower travel time, and they're damaged easier(from my experience). But that distance looks beautiful.
Got my hands on one of those six packs of Nerf Reflexes. Their internals are beautifully simple. After my first one, I can take apart one and remove the air restrictor and tape the little port and put it back together in like five minutes.
I think they'd make great integration guns, since they can easily be turned into a much smaller size, and they're incredibly simple. Not to mention you can buy 6 of them for $25. :v:
[editline] burp [/editline]
Tempted to try to find a way to mod them onto my Raider, but due to the pump action system I can't really attach it to the underside like I would on a normal integration mod.

You could remove the Raider pump handle and attach the slide on the Reflex to where the pump handle used to be. You pump the Raider like normal but when you push it forward, you push until the slide of the Reflex cocks. Ta-da you have an Reflex integration
The problem is, how do you connect the metal loop from the raider pump to the reflex and still have enough strength for the guns not to break apart. The Reflex doesn't have enough plastic on it to do it.
I think the easiest way would be to cut all of the grip off of the Raider's foregrip except for the flat part that houses the metal loop that connects to the bolt sled and just attach the top of the Reflex there, but it would be pretty bulky even if I cut down on the Reflex. Not to mention cocking the Reflex would be a bit cumbersome if it slides back and forth while I'm trying to use it as a grip.
On the plus side, I modded my Raider and removed the air restrictor, I did an okay job but I missed a few things. Sometimes the gun won't fire when it's cocked unless I cycle the pump again, but other than that and a missing attachment rail thing it's great. Unfortunately with the extra power the clip system darts have become woefully inaccurate, they spiral all over the place. :v:
i just found the 6th dart for one of my magazines which permits me to use it again
(i absolutely refuse to use a clip system mag unless it has all of the darts in it)
Thought I'd show you guys this since I own a Longshot. I just watched a movie on Netflix, called Hunter Prey. The guys in the movie had some pretty interesting guns, mainly because I noticed one interesting detail:

That's a bad ass helmet
Movie is actually fairly decent, I'd recommend watching it if you've watched Enemy Mine.
I'm considering getting a recon simply for their resemblance of a bolter pistol, so
are they any good, are they flimsy pieces of shit or what
The one I have is pretty hardy, I wouldn't say it's very flimsy at all.

They're good solid blasters, although all of its attachments suck. The pistol with the stock is about as good as it gets. But the pistol itself is good. :v:
thanks
i think i'll grab one
Most, if not all, Nerf guns I've ever bought are always good quality. These things are built to last and the plastic is far from flimsy.
That is, until you mod it to hell. Some modded reverse-plunger guns break due to AR removal combined with an aftermarket spring. It gets much better distance, but it will break eventually.
Agreed, you need to put something absorptive in the plunger to dampen the impact, otherwise it'll break much faster.
Most say to just use one of those felt pads for chairs. I cut my own foam stopper for my Longshot. Works really well and adds a better seal.
I just used some foam I found and stuffed it down the plunger after pouring super glue down there, I don't think it actually did much but it's better than nothing. :v:
That, and either replace or reinforce the bolt sled. I glued a couple of metal pieces cut from a coat hangar inside mine.
Sled is not that big of a problem. It's the plunger tube usually.
