How come the American Maverick is blue w/ yellow barrely, yet the UK version seems to be yellow w/ black barrel...

I'm confused, are the old line of N-Strike out of production now? I know my Wal-Mart has some Mavericks and Longshots most likely. Honestly, I just always wanted a Maverick, if not to mod; I need to know if I should go get it now or if I can wait.
