NERF Thread; AKA "Back in 'nam... Darts everywhere" - General

I highly doubt they're going to invest in putting high quality airsoft/RC batteries into a Nerf gun. Any Nerf gun that is electric is going to have a shitty, bulky, and inefficient electric firing system.

No one have any suggestions on what to do with my deploy? Also, Deploy + Drum Clip + Recon Barrel extension + Longshot bipod = Ultimate weapon.

The batteries cost like anywhere from $20-80. On top of that, they require special $20-40 chargers so that when the battery is done charging the charger turns off so as not to overload the battery. A man can dream... Man I need to get my hands on a longshot. I bought a Maverick once, but a friend of mine had it a while ago, and we're not so friendly anymore. Maybe even the buzzbee lever action one. Are those just as moddable (same distance/speed as a modded longshot for example) as NERF guns right?

Gah, that looks horrendous. So glad I bought a Longshot when we went to Wal-Mart preparing for a massive dorm Nerf gun fight instead of one of those.

I just had the idea of cutting off part the the recon's stock for the ammo clip storage and adding it to my deploy.

It will be pretty easy, the stock is pretty damn flimsy. I like to keep a clip in there to stabilize atleast half of it.

So, i was walking down the street earlier, and i see something yellow and look over. And there, children, lying there on the ground was an attachmentless Longshot. Alone and uncared for. I wanted to jack it, but i'd probably get in trouble.

I prefer airsoft, but I still love collecting and modding and messing with nerf guns. I always felt like I was the only 15 year old that did this until I came to this thread haha.

We all lacked any kind of tools aside from screwdrivers, so all of our mods involved tearing at shit with our hands and duct tape.

I have orange duct tape I decorated my nerf guns with, but I have a black-spraypainted firefly that I used for the MA5B when I dressed up as Master Chief. Otherwise I haven't done anything visually.

I live in Arizona, I dunno if its different elsewhere, but almost every teen/young adult here is an asshole and think they are all "gangster". I was lucky to find friends who could airsoft.

We're all assholes. Our Nerf battles resembled line battles. We'd all shoot off all the darts we had, then run up and beat the shit out of each other with the guns themselves. I broke the stock of my longshot (the grey part) on my friend's face. It was amazing.
