We're going to have a sawn-off double barrel before we even have a proper shotgun (ie something that looks like a shotgun, Hornet is cool but doesn't count).
Also, make it use some kind of multi-barrel clip system so I can use the Raider magazine with it.
I don't see how this'd work?
Step 1, convince someone to let us use their house as their battlefield.
Step 2, buy an everloving fuckload of energy drinks.
Step 3, Lights off, windows shuttered or covered with a piece of wood, complete darkness sorta thing.
Step 4, war until one team can't fight anymore. They get to camp in the back yard while war goes on for the remaining teams fight.
Repeat step 4 until you get a final winner, believe me, this shit is intense and why I need the Vulcan.

The new Alpha Trooper is basically a shotgun.
I had a Vulcan, but it jammed a lot and pretty much became a single-fire shotgun. It's range was approximately three feet.
I quickly went back to my beloved Recon.
I want to mod a maverick into this

I would probably do the spring mod for it too.

Ah, I see. You do this inside of a house?
I remember doing something like this, but it was outdoors, in a couple acres of plains and forests, with airsoft guns rather than Nerf guns.

Yeah, we usually ask the owners to put away anything break able and stay inside for 2 weeks so we don't lose darts. These things are a bitch to organize, with the excess amount of money for Energy drinks, gun modifications, and finding the owners a place to stay if they don't want to participate. Basically the only rules in the tournament are:
No stefans
No pistol whipping
No going kamikaze
No physical hitting unless using a nerf sword/axe
Bases are acceptable, but you have to pick them up on the last day.
When one team can't fight anymore, they leave their guns inside the house and join the "Refugee camp" ( A name inspired by facepunch.) in the back yard.
No using the owner's food, bring your own. If you run out go to the refugee camp, food there, but you can't come back in until the last day to help clean up.
If two people get into an argument, they can settle it in the refugee camp. Still can't get back in until the last day, we're here to fight not to talk.
Need to sleep, but don't want to go to the refugee camp? Go to your team base and take shifts.
No -real- blades.
No blunt objects (NERF ONLY).
Mods accepted, as long as they're not designed to be painful etc.
Common sense, don't attach a grenade launcher to your rail.
Nerf hand grenades are acceptable (Putting 5 NERF Clip System darts into a paper cup then throwing.)
Clip System darts only.
Hostage? Stay hostage until your team rescues you, or you escape. Your captors may decide to release you if you reveal a scout's location or your teams' base.
Are you overly tired, starving, thirsty, sore, or injured? Go to the refugee camp.
No cellphones outside of the Refugee camp (Walkie talkies accepted.)
If there is an emergency (i.e. fire) call 911, common sense.
If you are put into a situation where you could die (ex. on the edge of a loft or balcony.) you MUST go hostage.
Bleeding? Refugee camp.
Broken bone? 911.
Seizure? 911.
Medical emergency? 911.
Medical minority? Refugee camp.
Refugee camp is where minor injuries, people who need rest, people who need food, etc. go. Once you leave the interior of the house you cannot enter again until the last day of occupation to help clean up. You may go other places from the camp, but not back into the house. You qualified unfit for battle? Refugee camp. Right now we're trying to figure out a system of security cameras for spectating in the refugee camp. Made out of tents in back yard or a room with direct access to a ground-level exit/entrance.
Battlefield is where shit goes down between the teams. You can bring food, water (ONLY water to drink), but may not take food from refrigerators. (In fact we usually forbid entrance to a kitchen at all.) No light sources, no using phones, no TVs, final destination. Varies depending on who's house we're using. On the last day everyone helps clean it.
What the fuck? Just go buy an airsoft or paintball gun. Doing all that with NERF is, honestly, really fucking retarded.
What the fuck? Just go buy an airsoft or paintball gun. Doing all that with NERF is, honestly, really fucking retarded.
Too expensive, can't reuse ammo (Well w/e with the airsoft gun), chance to break stuff, too hard to clean in one day, etc. etc. etc.
Too expensive, can't reuse ammo (Well w/e with the airsoft gun), chance to break stuff, too hard to clean in one day, etc. etc. etc.
It costs half a cent for a BB. I use $3-6 of BBs in a 8 hour period. Paintball is retarded, and so are the prices for paintballs. I don't play paintball so I wouldn't know about cleaning, but I do know that it gets everywhere, sticks to everything, and when it half drys it turns into this paste shit...ugh.
But I guess if you don't want to spend the money on either, that's understandable. Just seems kind of silly to take NERF so seriously.
Nerf Wars are general more fun and less harmful than airsoft/paintball wars. If you don't like it, fine, but keep rude comments to yourself.

Well thats implying I don't do airsoft/paintball either, while I don't own any paintball guns, I do own an Airsoft FAMAS Replica and this cheap-ass pistol/shotgun combo from walmart. Paintball is too painful, but I play it to increase pain tolerance. Airsoft simply to increase accuracy because I'm the only one amongst my friends with more the 2 Airsoft guns and I don't want to go to an official tournament kinda thing.

I couldn't tell if he was joking or not. I suppose it was rude, but all that? Seriously?

Also, what's up with the "Once you leave to rest or eat something, you can't go back until the last day." What does that even mean? You staying there multiple days? And once they leave they can't come back? What?
Staying in battle for how long we're allowed to be in the house, and on the last day picking up. You can bring water (just water, no stains) and food, but if you run out you can leave. Once you enter the refugee camp you can't go back into the house until the last day to help pick up. There is food in the refugee camp, etc. but once you enter you can't re enter the battle ground until the last day. Pack your food, make a base, and you'll be fine in battle.
What kind of rule is that?
Me: "Oh I'm a bit hungry I'm just gonna head into the Refuge Camp for a bit and eat."
*eats sandwich, tries to go back into house to rejoin the battle*
PeanutTHENINJA: "NO YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED BACK IN. YOU'RE ONLY ALLOWED BACK IN ON THE LAST DAY. THEN YOU ARE -ALLOWED- TO HELP CLEAN UP."
What the actual fuck.
And if you're staying there 2 or 3 days, where do you sleep? You said go to the Refuge camp if you want to sleep. Everyone needs sleep. So everyone goes to sleep in the refuge camp, and nobody is let back in? Flawed rules, you didn't even explain what you do when you get hit.
What the fuck? Just go buy an airsoft or paintball gun. Doing all that with NERF is, honestly, really fucking retarded.
I love NERFing and all, but I have to agree with this. All that seems a bit excessive, especially considering you have to basically take over someone's house for a week.
Too expensive, can't reuse ammo (Well w/e with the airsoft gun), chance to break stuff, too hard to clean in one day, etc. etc. etc.
Pretty much all this can be remedied by doing this outside, with airsoft guns. BB's are insanely cheap, and buying the biodegradable BB's lets you not have to worry about cleaning up afterwards. But yeah, airsoft guns can be really expensive, especially in Canada.
Plus, you can find ACRES of empty land, rather than a couple hundred square feet of a house. You won't have to take over someone's house, and it's just generally a much better experience outdoors.

I said you can pack food in backpack rations, sleep in bases, etc. If you're under prepared and run out, then yeah. It usually goes quite well because my friends are all very competitive. You can steal food from bases you conquer, etc. As Janooba said, the war is more about endurance than shooting at eachother, and believe me getting shot 90 times with a vulcan while running back to base can be very tiring. The refugee camp is where the quitters go, if you want to sleep/eat you go into your team's base (Like I said in the wall of text.), if you're unable to battle you go into the refugee camp.
Yeah, that whole deal with rules and stuff seems pretty dumb.
The wars at my dorm were pretty intense, but there was no winner or loser. Even if you got hit, you just kept on shooting at people with the darts that come your way. Eventually, people got tired of shooting and would run up to engage in rifle butting and pistol whipping. Making a rule that says no physical combat/anything that hurts is not allowed just seems incredibly girlish to me.

NERF guns cannot tire anyone out. You must just collapse from fatigue when getting shot by an airsoft or paintball gun.

When 70-90% of the guns have no air restrictiors, you can't see shit because of no light, and it's been 3 days since you've had sleep because of all the monsters you've been drinking yes, yes they can.

Sounds like a recipe for high blood sugar.
I still fail to see how the Nerf guns cause fatigue. Seems like it's the days of no sleep that'd cause fatigue.
Check it, bitches.

I was going to say that the reason Buzz Bee owns the NERF shotgun market is becaues NERF won't design a gun without a million unnecessary fake screws and plates and stuff (see vulcan) but then I saw this.
on the other hand it would be awesome for mods. I'm dying to put the ammo holder on the side like a real shotgun. That one looks like shit. Also, WHILSTER DARTS? fuck that.

also, I found one of these in my basement, and when I upstairs I tried to sneak attack my dad, and the dart smacked him in the face. Nerf guns aren't completely painless. It's not like airsoft, but I expect too many shots would piss you off.
When 70-90% of the guns have no air restrictiors, you can't see shit because of no light, and it's been 3 days since you've had sleep because of all the monsters you've been drinking yes, yes they can.
Um, no. Even without air restrictors, they don't cause any kind of pain or anything like that. I can imagine getting annoyed from getting constantly shot, but I don't see why you'd just sit there and let people unload into you. The Vulcan isn't accurate enough to nail someone consistently, especially if they're moving.
I think you and your buddies have very basic Nerf wars (if you even have any) and you're greatly exaggerating what goes on in an attempt to sound cool and whatnot. I dunno what kind of parents would let something like that go on at their house for days, it's just not realistic.
How about these rules:
Each team has a base made out of whatever
Food and water is unlimited but they can not leave the base
If you get hit, You must immediately return to your base without shooting anything
War ends when everyone gets bored
How about these rules:

We get to use your credit card for the pizza.
I just got the Vulcan EBF-25. I've been going Rambo with it all day.
Why is this thread so slow? Facepunch is full of no-fun losers.
Maybe because most of us like to sleep?
Anyways, I'm going out in a bit to see if I can't find me one of those lever-action Buzz-Bee guns.
I just modified my switchshot (the one that works with the Wii) to fire airsoft bb's.
I took the air restrictor out, and ripped the suction cup off a glow-dart. The glow tape makes it thick and hard to move. Just a little more tape and it stays in place. Then I took around 7 bb's and put them into the nerf dart. It's like a shotgun.
