Do all nerf guns have shells? Like a casing is left after firing?
I'm thinking of getting a maverick because revolvers are sexy.
All nerf guns look a tonne like borderlands guns, kind of funny really.
Looking at stuff like this is also a good way to take my mind off of how jumpy i am right now (i just came from a ghost tales thread)
No NERF guns have shells.

Isn't that using shells of some description? I'm probably getting this horribly wrong, and if so, excuse me, i'm tired :v:

That's not Official NERF Brand, that's a knockoff.
Oh i see, interesting.
Oh i see, interesting.
Buzzbee is a knockoff brand, but they still have some neat stuff, like those shells.
I don't think it would be possible to make a double shot without shells.

There you are.
He has a point. I'm wondering how you're going to put the darts in...maybe inside there it has a 2 or 3 inch barrel that the dart sits in and the rest is that big thing you see on the box.
On the double shot, there's a seal that forms buy pushing the shell tightly against the air nozzle. Without shells, it wouldn't possible. Not saying it's not possible to make a double barrel nerf gun without them, but it's just not possible to do it the way buzz bee did.
woop my recon arrived

they prob have a tighter barrle to put the dart in which behind it has more foam / rubber than compresses around the airholes to form a seal
Enjoy it, the Recon kicks ass.
But they're a living bitch to mod.
Painting it is easy as fuck, it's just its really hard to get inside of.
That's also what she said.

indeed watched a vid on how to remove the AR but just looked to hard so im going to keep it stock, may just paint it though or try and figure a way to get a airsoft mp5 colapsable stock on the back instead of the flimsy one
( also rate me badspelling, cba to do anything about the mistakes above )

It does stand for Non expandable recreational foam.
Wikipedia says that.
and you can totally believe everything wikipedia says... :ninja:
Wikipedia is a bit more reliable than Yahoo answers, though.
My brother just fired one at my face at almost point blank, it hit my eye =/ my eye hurts now
Oh god the barrel break is finally a good reason to own the bandolier kit
Alright so my longshot finally got here in the mail today! It's pretty sick so far! Anyways I have a question about the little bolt piece. it comes in 2 parts and one side kind of goes into the other side. is it supposed to snap in or something or just kind of press together? Mine right now kind of just goes a little together and comes apart really easily. also theres maybe an eighth of an inch in between the gun and actual bolt when its inside the gun, and therefore the bolt slides back and forth. is this normal?
Make some guns marketed to the high school market, Nerf.
Use those plastic darts you had before, give them a decent range, and use gas or something to chamber the next round by itself. Basically Airsoft, but Nerf style (and probably a dickload cheaper).

Kids would still have those. My mom never read the box on the nerf gun. If I said I wanted the NERF BLAHBLAHBLAH FKYEK-238 for christmas she would write it down and go look for one with that name. And besides you could just get one with an air pump on it. same thing right?
I just figured out I can't mod my Longstrike because I already put the bolt in. FUCK!
Use a claw hammer.
And remove it.

YOU DIDN'T JUST SAY THAT!

I just used a flathead screwdriver, stuck it underneath the bolt end horizontal, then turned it so it was vertical. Popped the cap off real nice.
I was thinking about modding my Longshot for a longer range, then making a custom scope using only plastic wrap, marker, and some paper. I am also going to create a way to hit long-range targets, such as using Kentucky Windage with a formula to compensate for wind and gravity.
