Remember I told you about the guy who said I should get "a new aimer for your nerf guns" He got a raider and said "this gun is so dumb it doesn't even shoot far" I told him that it was supposed to shoot fast, and he said "thats dumb it only shoots one shot at once it should have range like a sniper rifle"
Credit for saying sniper rifle and not sniper, but that's how people are...
heres an idea: -chop down inner barrel of an airsoft gun -stick dart on top of chopped inner barrel -shoot gun Boom, nerf gun with a airsoft gearbox that shoots nerf darts. Sure its not automatic, but it beats the hell out of having to pump something, in my mind.
Sorry I made this really really early. I should've waited till morning to tape it.
my GOD guys if you don't even KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT A FUCKING AIRSOFT GUN STOP TRYING TO ARGUE, DARKSAMUS AND NEWBIENICE KNOW WAY MORE THAN YOU [editline]12:53AM[/editline] nice attempt though!!!1 [editline]12:53AM[/editline] at making the thing it looks inaccurate as hell
Disc shooters are cooler.
sand in vagina [editline]12:53AM[/editline] nice attempt though!!!1 [editline]12:53AM[/editline] at making the thing it looks inaccurate as hell
It would probably work better if the dart fit smoothly on the tube. I haven't put the gun back together, so I can make changes.
I'm modding my nerf gun and painting it. Currently I used a silver paint for undercoat, and sprayed multible layers over it. Then i'm gonna use other kinds of sprays as overcoat and at places finely sand down the overcoat to give it a worn look. but for details I'm gonna use a brush to paint them. anyone knows any good type of paint for that job? Currently I am experimenting with some oils I have left over from paintings and such. Is acrylic betteR? [editline]01:13PM[/editline] Will get pics. currently I have extecively modded the cylinder and made a new flash hider. Was planning to add a slide lock mechanism and rails for ACOG and flashlights and shit.
I got a Vulcan. Gosh every time I go to the nerf isle right next to the guns is the mind flex game where you move a ball around obstacles with your mind. It's $80 but I consider buying it every time I see it :sigh:
Just to not be only words and bullshit here's some progress shots: This is how far I am currently: and this is how the end result should look so far: Visit me DA under avatar and add me on devawatch for better updates.
Should I be annoyned by the stripes on that slide or not?
I'm glad they sell scopes. Couldn't hit a target from 35 feet away without one.
I want to get the Buzzbee Hunter. That thing looks fucking awesome.
The Hunter does look pretty sweet but I really want the Airzone Punisher
The Air Zone Punisher Gatling Blaster is a motorized Gatling dart blaster that has a full auto-rotating barrel with realistic rapid-fire and Gatling sound. Hold down the power trigger for full auto fire to shoot 30 darts in 20 seconds! It also has a stabilizing support arm and power grip handle for maximum rapid fire control and an ammo breech cover that ensures steady, reliable firing. The Air Zone Punisher Gatling Blaster comes with a 30-dart ammo belt.
Yea thats really Awesome. Most reviews praise it more than the Vulcan :O
1.5 rounds per second :haw: :geno:
tiny update.
Lookin' good.
Your inspiring to mod my Buzzbee Double Shot because it hardly works anyways so there isnt much to screw up.
make up your mind what yoou want to do with it. I wanted to do dieselpunk and I now have this generic D9 piece of shit on my hands.
Yea it doesnt seem like a lot of people mod their double shots except for sawing off the barrel. Any ideas? Also I really like the way yours is coming along so far.
Working on a mod, however, I've run into a snag. The darts wont fire, and when I add a brass pipe with a smaller diameter. They fire, but only around 3 feet. :(
I did that same Sharpie black stripe thing with my grey one... I didn't have paint or anything. I never knew others did that too. :S
Ok so my doubleshot modding is going awful. I figured I'd start with a super simple paint job and go from there. Its my first mod so I wanted to keep it easy. Naturally I wanted it to have a silver barrel, and brown (wood looking) stock. So I painted the entire thing with silver and looked great. Better than I expected even. But my luck runs out I Tape off the section I want to keep silver so I can paint the rest brown. Simple enough. But the first can of Brown spray paint I have exploded near the nozel and got brown paint everywhere. Luckily I had another can. So I shake it up and begin. What I didnt notice is this nozzel was pretty messed up too and shot more like a squirt gun rather than the fine spray paint mist we all know and love. This caused the applied layer to be incredibly thick and uneven and runny and just really bad looking. So I decide to take the brown layer off, cause it was too thick to paint over. So I couldnt find any paint remover anywhere so I decided to just go at it with a dull pocket knife. It took forever but I got most of the brown off, leaving a weird scratchy layer of yellow and silver. But there was one part that didn't have a layer of silver under the brown (the are under the green "secret storage") and there it was impossible to scrape off. It was so thick there too that i could hardly open and close the green thing. So I went looking in the garage again and found some 100% concentrate Acetone. I figured this stuff would work great. Which it did, too great. So I took off all the brown paint in the area, or at least enough to paint over, with the acetone. But then I noticed the acetone was actually melting the plastic. This began to clog up that hinge area again and now the plastic itself is becoming uneven. And now my hands look like they were in a fire covered in black and yellow melted plastic. Im gonna hope it doesn't clog too bad, sand it down and just paint it all silver or go buy a new can of brown tomorrow hopefully.
I feel that Buzz Bee is way more innovative than Nerf.
this thread reminds me of the Nerf thread that I made in the TF2 section back when people where constantly bitching and making threads about nerfing the new weapons and stuff http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=864796&
I feel that Buzz Bee is way more innovative than Nerf.
I would not say way. Sure they have awesome stuff like shells but at the same time, Nerf released clip system. Nerf also has their tactical rail system. I know everybody disses on it but putting some flashlights on those is pretty fun for a manhunt like night game. Buzz Bees Tommy 20 is really cool too, but I do like a lot of Nerf Designs as well.
If Buzzbee and Nerf joined forces we'd have awesome shit to play with
Finished my NERF mod. More shots on my deviantart, which you can access from under my avatar.

By the way, what did you use for the cylinder?
old teapot.
Holy crap, people have moded the nerf crossbow into some unbelievable stuff http://nerfhaven.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=8792&st=0 I've never opened one, how hard would it be to mod into a decent water gun?
what should I do to get some publicity for my mod?
