If I took a 12.7mm I.D. tube and a CO2 canister, could I make an awesome Nerf sniper rifle?

I agree though that visually they are very different and do fit different styles of guns.

There's a billion and two mods for the Maverick to make them look like the 10mm pistol from FO3, but why doesn't someone make the Longstrike look like the Hunting Rifle (maybe even mod the bolt to look like a proper bolt).

Hello there, I am actually quite an avid nerfer myself and I thought, I should post what I have modded. So about 6 months ago before I owned a Maverick and a Recon and a half made LAB I found an old ball shooter that I was given as a kid. I was meaning to mod it at some point but I decided against it, as I figured it wouldn't work. So 6 months later I see it again sitting on my self in the UK and I figured what the heck let's go for it. So presenting the Single shot HAMP: [URL=http://img411.imageshack.us/i/singleshothamp1.jpg/][IMG]http://img411.imageshack.us/img411/7755/singleshothamp1.jpg[/IMG][/URL] Added a piece of 3/4" PVC to the front to force the air down it, then I took a copper tube that fits the darts snug and shoved that down the barrel. Later I then realised that there's a bloody air restrictor and that was a bitch to get out. Gradually after fucking it up it came out. I wasn't expecting the outcome, as soon as I push the back handle forward the dart flew out, I literally shouted out "Holy SHIT" Quickly went into the Garden and I pulled off 60 feet, I was very happy :dance: [URL=http://img13.imageshack.us/i/singleshothamp.jpg/][IMG]http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/2708/singleshothamp.jpg[/IMG][/URL] The added PVC To prime the gun you put a dart in the front and draw the back handle, the air sucks in the dart down the barrel, now all you do is push it forward and it flies. The longshot looks nothing like the hunting rifle.

Stampede looks badass, but the $50 made me cringe a tad bit.

Back on topic : The stampede looks promising , coming with three 18 dart mags and one 6 dart , and it being a fully automatic [b] direct plunger [/b] blaster , think of a longshot and the vulcan combined.

I'm getting a Stampede the second I can find one, then I'm trashing the rest of my Nerf armory. All I'm keeping is a Longshot for sentiment, one of my Mavericks, my Deploy, my Raider and my Vulcan. The Stampede's gonna be my new best friend.

I had one about 8 years ago it fired about 60 darts but it broke the same day i got it.
