after five months and several failed attempts, I FINALLY got my vulcan working, totally worth the trouble
I like what you did to the maverick, if you had a recon extended barrel you should take out the inner tube and put it on the maverick
Holy fuck, a Nerf rocket? Fucking swords? I want to get some of that shit, it looks awesome.
Why are there like 5 different darts? Wouldn't it be easier to just make one kind of dart and be done with it? I mean, they're all going to hit someone in the face anyways.

The same reason why they are making "Camo" Darts , making them 100% harder to find so they'll be bought more frequently
there is the issue of certain types of darts not working with certain types of weapons (cs weapons only work with streamlines, while the barrel break fails hard at firing streamlines)
If they optimised the guns to work with different darts, it would work, wouldn't it... But still, I'm hyped about the Stampede. Looks awesome. I have a feeling the sale of D batteries is about to go through the roof.
I use Whistlers in my RFR :v: I had to drill out the ARs in the shells and cut the darts so the clip will cycle but it works well Someone tell me what the fuck is with the Clear series of weapons? Is having a see through gun cool? It makes it look cheaper.
Yeah, on NerfHaven everyone's SUPER EXCITED for the clear weapons for no point at all.
I'm sorry, clear NERF guns? What's the point? So you can see all the annoying parts you want to remove, but can't because the case is even harder to take apart since it's clear and hard to remove the screws from easily?
And yet everyone in the nerf community has a raging hardon for them.
I have: A stock Maverick A stock Titan A stock Recon Stock Firefly AR removed NiteFinder Stock longshot. I want to mod them, but I lack proper hot/wood glue or power tools and am stuck with a boxcutter and a screwdriver. Tips?
I saw a clear Maverick in the store and the clear plastic + lightweight feel to the entire thing made it feel like an extremely cheap piece of shit. I think I'll pass, but it's a good opportunity to see how everything works in a Nerf gun for those at NerfHaven

Except for the longshot/recon, which will need bolt sled reinforcement, but none of the others should require that stuff. You might even be able to single your titan.
"single my Titan," while it sounds sexual, I don't understand that
Basically it means make it fire single nerf darts. Its a lot more powerful that way. This guide isn't very good because it doesn't have pictures, but it does an ok job of describing the process. Im going to my cousins house in another province and we play nerf quite a bit together. Would be cool to show him how to mod it. He is like 12 so he would think it is cool.
The above site (nerfhaven) has a lot of info on this topic. I would also check out http://modworks.blogspot.com/ though they really only have info on the latest guns.
I like what you did to the maverick, if you had a recon extended barrel you should take out the inner tube and put it on the maverick
Yea, i was originally going to use that PVC pipe for a silencer for my air soft gun, but it was slightly too small, and when i took apart my maverick, i found it fit perfectly! (with a little hot glue) and it also reminded me of a silenced 10mm pistol form Fallout

If I ever get a nerf gun, I'm gonna rip out the insides and replace it with something like this: http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-create-a-simple-yet-effective-DIY-air-gun-a/

I'm going to try to make a shell holder and a flashlight attachment to it in the future. ----------------------------------------------------------------- HG3 Foregrip I took a the grip off of the aforementioned recon , Super Hot Glued it to a recon flip sight(sight part removed) it's really sturdy when i tested it. ---------------------------------------------------------------- A18 "Headshot" Modular Assault Rifle W/ HG3 Just a long strike with a Banana Style Clip and the fore grip ---------------------------------------------------------------- DP6 "Stealthy" Pistol A maverick with a PVC pipe fitted to be the barrel, looks quite alot like the 10mm silenced pistol from fallout 3. What should my first nerf gun be? (I feel like a six year old asking this jesus) [editline]07:44PM[/editline] I feel like getting a maverick and trying to get it to look like the silenced 10mm from Fallout 3, Chernobyl and I could have a contest or something Do mavericks autocycle or do you have to pull the 'slide' back (how the fuck do revolvers need slides nerf? :colbert:)

And pulling the trigger cycles the maverick, the slide just pulls the plunger back :flashfact:
Just bought the maverick and a couple of extra darts from amazon :c00lbert: [editline]08:01PM[/editline] fucking $6.33 shipping and handling how dare you amazon
The shipping for the pre-order stampede on target is something like $5k because of a fuckup on the site (9030lbs ship weight, wtf). Chernobyl, giving everything ~$up3я t@(t1c001~ names won't make it better, especially since one is a sawn off DS with the recon's slide glued on, another is the recon's grip glued to the recon's sight, another is a longstrike with a banana clip mod, another is a mav with a pvc barrel (still has price tag, wtf) and the last is a standard AR-removed NF.

Also, foregrip is a good idea but does NOT go with the Longstrike.
Besides, Nerf is releasing a grip-pod with the Stampede.
IMO grip-pods suck. They're way too big, and bipods are hardly ever useful unless you're making very long range shots (not in NERF nor airsoft) or you have Alzheimer's.

IMO the grip-pod looks like shit compared to a normal foregrip. And you're not. Anyone with a can of spray paint, a hot glue gun, some tape, clippers, and a screwdriver could accomplish those mods. Look at Everybody's FUCKING AWESOME Mav repaint. That takes effort. Yours do not.
