My friend has a maverick and he loses the darts constantly.
IMO the grip-pod looks like shit compared to a normal foregrip. And you're not. Anyone with a can of spray paint, a hot glue gun, some tape, clippers, and a screwdriver could accomplish those mods. Look at Everybody's FUCKING AWESOME Mav repaint. That takes effort. Yours do not.
I agree, those do kick ass, mine are meh.
if you define 'meh' as 'could literally do them in 5 minutes or less', sure, go ahead
if you define 'meh' as 'could literally do them in 5 minutes or less', sure, go ahead
6. 6 Minutes.
...What?
...What?
It takes more than 5 minutes. You have to spray paint the gun(s) Unscrew the recon. Take the parts you need Wait for the hot-glue gun to warm up. glue wait to dry. More than 5 minutes :smugdog: That's for the Shotgun atleast But i added a bit more stuff to the it. A foregrip (durr hurr) And a working Sight/Scope. all with parts from a recon.
What brand of paint are you using? Looks like shit, to be honest. At least spring the extra two dollars to get the Krylon camouflage matte paint series. It won't be sticky like I'm sure that paint you used is.

And The camo Idea is really cool too. But I use this ... kind. Its not sticky though.
If you're painting anything somewhat gun-related, go for matte paint. There's usually a lot more prepping for gloss paint, like varnishing and shit.
Yeah, I just use a black matte primer and then everything is nice and the detail coat goes on just perfect
If you're painting anything somewhat gun-related, go for matte paint. There's usually a lot more prepping for gloss paint, like varnishing and shit.
Thanks for the tip. :hfive:
what is that i dont even assuming the hot glue gun is warmed up and the spray paint is considered finished the moment it's applied, it takes 5 minutes to finish
what is that i dont even assuming the hot glue gun is warmed up, it takes 5 minutes to finish
I added a foregrip. And that's a sight.
That's a sight how in the hell
That's a sight how in the hell
You look through it, and see that quarter circle in the front? Line it up. fire. The darts go bewteen the line.
Considering that A. That's a plunger glued to a bolt sled and B. Nerf darts have drop, I don't think so.
Considering that A. That's a plunger glued to a bolt sled and B. Nerf darts have drop, I don't think so.
That's why you have to tilt it up...
Which makes the sight useless. :downs:
Which makes the sight useless. :downs:
:derp: If when you aim it WITH the tilt, and it lands where you want it, its not useless...
all with parts from a recon.
Dude, did you wreck that recon in a failed modding attempt, or do you just hate recons? I mean, I guess that "sight" is kind of creative but... that's like throwing 20 dollars away...
:derp: If when you aim it WITH the tilt, and it lands where you want it, its not useless...
Scopes/sights on nerf guns are tacky accessories unless they're like adjustable grenade launcher sights.

So i scrapped it. [editline]04:09AM[/editline]
Scopes/sights on nerf guns are tacky accessories unless they're like adjustable grenade launcher sights.
That's why its a BuzzBee :smug: But it is adjustable in its own special way.

agree with the above post i love how he thinks his shit is actually practical/useful
dr chernobyl is funny. it's just so horrible to see his "mods", looks like shit i did when i was 11
Thank you. Half of it isin't modded, but some of it is.
Thank you. Half of it isin't modded, but some of it is.
protip that wasn't a compliment
protip that wasn't a compliment
Protip: Recognize sarcasm and learn to protip. Also let me correct myself. They are Hacks, not mods.
Protip: Recognize sarcasm and learn to protip. Also let me correct myself. They are Hacks, not mods.
you can't hack a toy gun
'hacks' as in he hacks the gun to pieces
